Excellent location, helpful friendly staff, pillows and beds overly firm.
Pros:

The staff and location at Hotel Sierra Negra Hotel were excellent! We booked two rooms facing the beach and ocean which made this location worth it. The rooms were cleaned daily and the staff weee available via WhatsApp even in the evening when the desk was not staffed. Replies were always quick.
The hotel is a little older but while we’re there they resurfaced and painted the entire facade and stairwell.
The hotel also provides fresh, cold water in the lobby and a shared fridge for leftovers you wish to bring back from a meal out for a midnight snack (as our kids did 😁), as well as air conditioning and fresh towels whenever we needed them. They also have beach towels available upon request!
We noticed that almost all the beds in Galapagos were quite firm (which I don’t mind, but sometimes it can make sleep uncomfortable. The pillows were a little like cinder blocks with a pillowcase which was uncomfortable but everything else was lovely, clean, and well kept.
The staff organized taxis when we needed it, were helpful in their suggestions for places to go. Isabela is probably our favourite place in Galapagos and the location of this hotel certainly helped us appreciate our stay.

Cons:

The absolute hardness of pillows and overly firm beds, though the pillows were the main thing that could easily be remedied.

Mi calificación al hotel 4. Mis razones la seguridad es pésima porque no hay recepcionista en la noche pésima seguridad por el día con el tema de las llaves de casa habitación quedan sin vigilancia. La dos habitaciones sin servicio de televisión no funciona , camas con colchones y almohadas duras. Una pena que no haya lámparas en la habitación 9 no hay closet no hay donde colocar la ropa, este hotel no nos ofreció confort. Llegamos y el hotel sucio desde la entrada donde está la recepción y en mantenimiento, los enchufes en mal estado. Deben especificar que el restaurante está fuera del hotel saliendo apresurados por la mañana. Tuvimos que prender la Luz del baño para que la habitación no quede a oscuras. No hay administración ni orden. Las grada de la planta baja es resbalosa mi hija se cayó 1 vez y mi esposa 2 veces en la segunda se le dañó su gafa de sol porque l tenía en la mano y se cayó para sostenerse. No lo recomendaría.

Great balcony!!
Pros:

Access to fridge, chilled and hot water is great 😊 Amazing location, clean rooms. Lovely staff. Great views and balcony!

Cons:

Breakfast could have been better. Eggs with not good bread every day. Fruit was nice though which it also came with. But after a few days it really could do with more variety and a less sweet juice. Hotel was also quite expensive.

Pros:

La ubicación de este lugar permite disfrutar de momentos únicos frente a la playa, frente encontrarán diferentes aves mientras cazan peces y por las noches se puede distinguir perfectamente algunas constelaciones. El personal fue muy amable y si sales temprano te ayudan con un breakfast box!

Balcón frente a la playa , ubicación genial frente al malecón
Pros:

Fueron muy amables en todas nuestras consultas y necesidades. Tenía todo lo básico para una buena estadía.
Cómo nuestro ferry salia en la tarde , dejamos las valijas y nos ofrecieron un baño antes de irnos para cambiarnos y darnos una ducha, eso fue un plus genial !!

Cons:

The rooms in general. Especially if you get rooms not facing the sea, as they face houses in ruins. The hotel really needs some refurbishing in general inside the rooms and in the common areas. There were leaks on the stairs from a massive hole on the wall that we had to jump over every day and the decoration could really improve with a little to make it feel nicer. It feels like no effort

Excellent location on Isabela!
Pros:

Great location on the beach and easy walking distance to everything. The room was was very clean. The manager was absolutely amazing. He made great recommendations, was very helpful and stored our luggage and offered a room to change in before our ferry time.

Cons:

The mattresses were a bit firm for our liking.
