Kleinschalig hotel, met te veel herrie ivm uitbreiding.
Pros:

Net klein hotel, redelijk in het centrum.

Cons:

Ze bouwen nog 2 verdiepingen erop. Al om 7 uur herrie vd bouwvakkers tot laat in de middag.

Cons:

Las habitaciones del piso inferior (al menos la nuestra) olia muchisimo a humedad. No tiene aire acondicionado todo y que en la descripcion decia que sí. Teniamos un simple ventilador

Zu viel Lärm
Pros:

Zimmer waren sauber und das Bett bequem.

Cons:

Das Personal war meist nicht anzutreffen. Keine Infos beim Einchecken. Alles musste nachgefragt werden.
Viel Lärm. Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig: ca. 4:45 Uhr gab es lautes Geschrei und Geklopfe auf dem Flur. 2 Stunden später begann der Baulärm im Hotel.
Frühstück hätte für den Preis besser sein können.
Alles in allem unsere schlechteste Unterkunft, die wir auf unserer 4 wöchigen Reise durch Sulawesi hatten.

La gentilezza del personale, la pulizia della camera e del bagno e la posizione. Ci hanno consigliato la guida per visitare la terra dei Toraja. La colazione anche se semplice era buona, le bottiglie di acqua gratuite

Frindly staff at front desk. Everything else in subpar.
Pros:

Staff is friendly and flexible to make booking changes. Older facility that badly needs renovation. The facility ground is beautiful and has lots of potential for a new owner to totally upgrade it. All tour guides I met discouraged me to stay here as it’s too far from Tana Toraja and inconvenient to eat in Makele. It also has no accommodation facility for private drivers. I booked 1 room for 2 nights and ended up staying for one night and gave the second night room to the driver. Room carpet is dirty and stained. Room Air smells moldy. Bath tub was not clean and has cracked porcelain. Breakfast also had a poor selection. Ants crawling around the sink.

A quiet, tidy stay with friendly staff
Pros:

The lobby, the garden, and the rooms are all well maintained. The lobby has a nice atmosphere. For breakfast there's enough choice, and they'll prepare fresh rice or cut fresh fruit if you’d like. The location is very nice, situated on a side street. The rooms are very spacious. Honestly, it's just everything you would expect from a hotel in Rantepao, really nothing to complain about.
The staff is really, truly friendly

There could have been a window in the bathroom that could be opened, because it seemed to be sealed shut

Great hotel, located in the center of Rantepao
Pros:

Great hotel, located in the center of Rantepao - very good location. We spent four nights here and will come back next time. Big clean rooms, breakfast buffet. Great service, no problem with early check-in and late check-out. Hotel staff is always ready to help. I recommend this hotel, choose without hesitation.

Cons:

I have no comments, everything was very good.

Pros:

View and strategic place, convenient to the centre. Kind and polite workers.

Cons:

doesn’t look same as the photos, there’s renovations at the level three and starting at 7am, serious interrupted-sleeping. breakfast provided too little choices, highly recommend add some veggies and fruits. Hope to see theres changes in the future. By the way, We enjoyed 2 night staying Toraja Banua Hotel. Thank you 🙏🙏

A lovely hotel to explore the area...
Pros:

The staff were lovely and the bed was very comfortable.
The location was convenient but very noisy.

Cons:

The hotel was somewhat noisy because of building and street noise.
The pillows were too big but swapped quickly after I let staff know.
