Cons:

TV and wifi not available. Bakery smell all day as it is next to a bakery factory. Only thing good is the location . Service mindset is poor . Breakfast not available before 8 am if you are an early starter .

Pros:

24hrs Hot Water.
Near to Beach.

Cons:

Service Charge of 500 .I travel a lot but this is the first time I am experiencing this.
Services very Bad.
Intercom not working.
TV just for name sake.Not even a single channel was Subscribed.
Night no experience staff.
The way it was advertised,I thought it as hotel.but it is a Home Stay.
Transportation problem no transport from home stay to city.

Unverschämte Gastgeberin. Frühstück wie im Schichtdienst.
Pros:

Die Lage. Man war in 3 Minuten am Meer und in 10 Minuten ist man in die Innenstadt gelaufen.

Cons:

Vor allem das Personal. Als wir ankamen, wusste niemand was von der Buchung und es wurde wild herumtelefoniert. Das Frühstück war okay, aber es gab nur einen Tisch für alle Gäste und man hat sich gefühlt wie im Schichtdienst: Nach 15 Minuten sitzen wurde man gebeten, wegzugehen für andere Gäste. Dann der Clue am Abreisetag: Uns wurde eine komplett falsche Rechnung gegeben (mit Extra-Gast z.B.), die teurer war als unsere. Der Fehler wurde eingesehen, aber bei der richtigen Rechnung habe ich vergessen die Steuern dazuzurechnen (habe es dann natürlich auch eingesehen). Die Gastgeberin (sehr frech und unverschämt) hat mich dann süffisant gefragt, ob ich denn wüsste was Steuern wären!!!! Das geht gar nicht, gerade, nachdem sie selbst eine falsche Rechnung gemacht haben. Das Zimmer war leider nicht sehr sauber. Und die Gastgeberin einfach ein No-Go. Sie hat einem anderen Gast (eine Einheimische, vermuten wir) mehr zum Frühstück angeboten und uns überhaupt nicht. Und sie hat uns vorgeschrieben, wo wir auf der Terrasse sitzen sollen (obwohl alle Stühle frei waren). Es ist schade, weil die Unterkunft für den Preis ok ist, aber der Umgang mit uns war unter aller Kritik.

Pros:

The location is near Payyambalam beach. It was convenient to walk to this beach. However, three-whealer vehicles were not available for over 1 hour for returning to the Home Stay.

Cons:

The TV was not operational and wi-fi broke down.

Great homestay with very good breakfast.
Pros:

This is our 5th travel to India and Choice beach house is the cleanest place we have ever been to. .Room and bathroom were spotless.
Raju who welcomed us was a bit shy but very friendly and helpful. Shobna's local breakfast was very tasty! She's a good cook and it was nice talking to her. The owner Ibrahim came over to welcome us on our first morning and was also very nice to talk to. We recommend this homestay.

Cons:

Wifi wasn't working.. We had our itinerary to check out and also had to book tickets online so we went to a café with wifi.
The room was a bit small for us as we both do yoga but if you don't need extra space the room is perfect.

Good place to stay in Kannur
Pros:

Good location, near to beach (but beach is not swimmable or to relax on). Clean and tidy rooms.

Cons:

Would have appreciated more communication from staff around a welcoming and introduction
