Friendly staff, hygiene standards dubious.
Pros:

Perfect location, very friendly staff, little minibar at reception selling drinks which was greatly appreciated. Good number of toilets and showers that were pointed out and easily identifiable. Felt very safe.

Cons:

Over the course of a week, I saw a bloody snot smear on a paper towel dispenser, and a suspicious purple stain on the carpet in the hall with an odd white blob on top of it that weren't cleaned away, so that was rather disconcerting.

the room was satisfactory but the furniture was outdated
wall plugs looked worn out
the clothes rail only had two hangers and was not stable
there was only one towel even though the booking was for two people.
although it is a shared bathroom, the facilities were not clean. sink had hair & dirt. the mirror wasn't clean.

the shower was fine but was a bit unstable in the fixture. overall not great, would not stay here again. unless you don't mind being in and out, it was very bad.

good stay not the hotels fault but outside obviously because of it being in town very noise but was expected
