The galley room is an excellent idea if you are light breakfasters as we are ,it is what makes the price of the rooms a bit more acceptable.The use of the front room is also a plus ,especially when meeting friends.Nice toiletries !
In the galley room,the bread could have been fresher, some brown sugar and marmalade too ! Another chair in the room ,my partner had to perch on the bed in a dark corner whilst I was able to enjoy my coffee sitting on a chair !

Easy to find, great parking which is at a premium in Topsham. The room was a great size and the storage good. Odd to even have to mention this as every hotel should have this but there was a socket near a mirror for drying hair. The bathroom was super clean and the staff friendly and helpful. They do not have tea/coffee making facilities in the room but they have a kitchen for use by guests fully stocked with nice tea/coffee, breakfast cereals and bread/jam/butter. Such a good idea as at least there was a fridge in there stocked with fresh milk which is so much better than the sachets of milk usually provided. There were bathrobes and a bottle of water on our bedside tables. All in all a great stay.

We visited on a Tuesday in Winter so no evening meal available, shame but understandable.
Nice location, some parking onsite, on arrival one young lady was particularly friendly and helpful. Having a kitchen was a nice touch. Was good for a night but probably wouldnt stay longer
no kettle in the bedroom so had to get dressed to make a morning cuppa.
The Salutation Inn is well situated in the centre of Topsham. Lovely rooms. Excellent staff throughout. Would definitely recommend. A real gem!
Very clean & comfortable bedding, pillows, towels plus bath robes.
Small self serve kitchen was available for early breakfast; offering, toast, cereals; coffee, teas, this was very well received.

The room was quite warm, and with no a/c this was the only criticism.
Great location, this room was very large. Easy instructions for check-in and parking on a Sunday arrival. Bed was VERY comfortable. Love the option to make your own breakfast, fantastic selection of cereals, bread, coffee etc. instead the extra cost of full sit-down breakfast. Area was very quiet and relaxing. HIGHLY recommend a stay here. We WILL be back and hope to try the restaurant downstairs, as it's closed on a Sunday and Monday.
