De locatie en ruime kamer

The hotel is situated just around the corner from the Galata tower with a lot of nice restaurants and shops.
Unfortunately, our stay did not meet expectations at all. The street where the hotel is located felt more like a dirty backstreet, which immediately gave a bad first impression. The garbage on the photo was spread all over the street when we arrived.
Our room was on the ground floor and did not feel anywhere near the advertised 38 m². We were staying with three friends and could barely pass each other. Privacy was very limited: the “windows” of the toilet and shower are far more see-through than the photos suggest, and you can hear everything from the bathroom, which is quite uncomfortable.
Our biggest disappointment was the beds: No box spring or slatted bed base but a hard wooden plank with a sagging mattress. Extremely uncomfortable. We have honestly never slept so badly. It was also very hot in the room.
Additionally, there is a so-called bar in the room that is completely useless and only takes up valuable space. It was also unclear how to operate the lighting, with no logical switches or instructions. We do not understand where the high rating comes from, probably from people who normally stay in a tent.
Of course, we addressed the issue the next day, but unfortunately no solution with decent beds could be offered. Given all of this, we felt we had no other option than to leave after the first night, despite having booked three nights. Our hips and backs were just aching too much.
To make matters worse, the hotel marked us as “no-show,” as if we never showed up at all, which meant we would be unable to apply for a refund. This was extremely disappointing.
This particular hotel demanded full payment in advance and I now understand why. Good learning lesson, will never do that again.
Overall, a very poor experience. We sincerely hope to be compensated in one way or another.
Het hotel ligt op een zeer mooie locatie en dicht bij alles.Het hotelpersoneel is vriendelijk en doet zijn best om aan onze verzoeken te voldoen.
Persoonlijk was ik zeer tevreden over het hotelpersoneel en ik zou dit hotel van harte aanbevelen aan iedereen die naar Istanbul reist.

Host was amazing couldn't help us enough, nothing was too much trouble, location was great right in the heart of everything. Very reasonably priced , clean and tidy hotel.
Nothing everything was great
The bed was comfortable and room clean. We had a 40th birthday celebration so the hotel staff were very accommodating and helped so much with letting our family members into our room to decorate it with balloons
The lighting in the room we had was quite bad. Not good for a woman who likes todo make up and hair. What’s needed is a main bright light for those dark mornings and evenings :)

Really quiet street but still super close to the main attraction area
Il punto di forza del Galata Rasso Hotel è la posizione; si trova vicinissimo alla Torre di Galata, in una zona non esclusivamente turistica, e questo permette sia di godere, appena fuori dalla porta, di una parte autentica di Istanbul, sia di avere a disposizione un buon numero di ristoranti e locali dove cenare e trascorrere la serata. Con una passeggiata di 15 minuti si può raggiungere anche il Ponte di Galata, e da lì le zone di Sirkeci e Sultanhamet, dove si trovano i luoghi da visitare assolutamente in città; ancora più vicina la zona dello shopping di Isitklal Caddesi. La camera aveva dimensioni adeguate ed era sufficientemente pulita (ma questo aspetto può essere migliorato); interessante la soluzione del bagno ‘a vista’ (ma l’illuminazione di questa zona potrebbe essere più efficiente). Ha costituito quindi una base assolutamente strategica per muoversi in una città così estesa.
Come ho detto, la pulizia della stanza potrebbe essere migliore, così come l’illuminazione (in particolare della zona bagno – specchio senza illuminazione frontale). Lo staff si è dimostrato professionale ma non particolarmente empatico.
Moderne et sécure .
Pas d'endroit pour accrocher les serviettes. Murs fins et on entend les voisins discuter. Toutes les chaînes télé en Turquie avec très mauvaise réception.
