Fantastic!
Pros:

Fantastic location! Clean and comfortable! Staff were amazing and the restaurant downstairs was very good! Will be staying again on our next trip!

Das Personal war sehr freundlich, auf Anfragen wurde sofort reagiert. Die Zimmer waren groß genug. Es gab täglich frisches Wasser und lecker Tea Cakes

Cons:

Es gab ein Fenster mit Milchglasscheibe ohne Rolladen oder Vorhang, somit war es recht hell im Zimmer

Pros:

The location was simply perfect. ıt was just minutes away from the Princes St Park. The cleanliness of the room and the staff attitude was really good. Only I was expecting a better view from my room:) But that was not a big problem I barely stayed in the room in my one night stay anyway.

Great stay! Highly recommended
Pros:

Lovely hotel. Central to everything. Plenty of places to eat in very short walking distance. Clean and good sized rooms.

Cons:

This is personal preference but the pillows you get are WAY too flat/soft for us, we much prefer more plump/firm pillows so we didn't have the best night sleep but in general the bed was comfortable. The room we were in (Gordon Ramsey) was VERY warm. The Dyson fan wasn't working effectively. Remote may need new batteries or the actual Dyson fan may need replacing.

Pros:

Lovely hotel with nice vibe. A little bit away from the centre but it didn't worry us too much really, everything was walkable . Staff were lovely; room was nice and appreciated the option of the minibar (quite unusual these days!). We liked the themed rooms; pub great. Enjoyed the live music very much.

Cons:

Nothing not to like really, in fact recommended it to a friend.

Adorable venue in a great location
Pros:

Quirky hotel, looks great, bar amazing, location superb. Nice touches of bottled water and tunics tea cake on room.

Cons:

No mini bar on my room. Noisy mornings- generators firing up, beer kegs being delivered. No bedside shelf or table to allow me to drink tea in bed. Only one solitary tea bag provided each day

Bien situado y limpio
Pros:

Está bien situado, cerca del centro histórico y en una zona con tiendas y restaurantes, pero sin ser demasiado bullicioso. La cama muy cómoda. El desayuno es con menú, no hay demasiado donde elegir, pero lo que probamos estaba bueno. El personal muy amable.

Cons:

El chek-in era a partir de las 3. Fuimos a las 2.45 para ver si ya estaba lista la habitación, ya que teníamos uma visita programada y no podíamos esperarnos (estaba nevando y queríamos cambiarnos de ropa), pero no nos dejaron hacerlo ni 5 minutos antes. Estando allí todavía, se hicieron las 3 y nada, nos tocó volver por la noche. Las maletas sí pudimos dejarlas sin problema.

La habitación que nos tocó era pequeña, apenas había espacio para abrir las maletas, pero tampoco había espacio para poner las cosas en el armario. La habitación daba a la calle lateral a una zona de carga y descarga, así que a las 5 de la mañana había ruidos que no te dejaban dormir.

El baño estaba bien, pero tampoco había espacio para dejar nada. El secador no está en la habitación, tienes que pedirlo en recepción y te lo dan en seguida. Como en muchos otros sitios de UK, no puedes enchufarlo en el baño, pero hay espejo fuera también (no de cuerpo entero).

No es que esté mal en sí, no lo está, pero para ser un 4 estrellas y el precio, bastante justo.

I wouldn’t stay here again
Pros:

A very convenient location with a tram stop within 5 minutes walk.

Cons:

I had to move rooms as the secondary glazing on the first floor room did not keep out the noise of air conditioning units nor the 3 young men from next door having a cigarette break and a chat. The hotel staff were aware of the noise issues but said it wasn’t their aircon. I used the key that I was given for the replacement room and found that it was already occupied! The next room was freezing and I had a restless night plus in the morning it was too cold to have a shower as the heating was still off in the bedroom and bathroom. I would not stay here again.

Ein sauberes, komfortables Hotel mit einer exzentellenten Lage
Pros:

Wir haben das Hotel insbesondere wegen der Lage gebucht und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Ein exzellenter Ausgangspunkt zum Erkunden der Stadt und Sehenswürdigkeiten. Zentral aber nicht laut. 1-3 Minuten entfernt mehrere Möglichkeiten etwas zu essen oder noch zu besorgen nachts. Fußläufig zum Edinburgh Schloss, sowie Dean Village. Die Rezeption war dauerhaft besetzt, das Hotel und die Zimmer waren sauber. Es gab die Möglichkeit im Hotel zu frühstücken, abends zu essen oder sich an der Bar zu amüsieren. Trotz der Bar im Erdgeschoss mit Livemusik, war es auf den Zimmern nicht laut. Klar weiterzuempfehlen.

Cons:

Es gab nichts auszusetzen. Vergessliche Europäer könnten vielleicht Adapter für EU-Stecker auf den Zimmern gebrauchen, wenn man es pauschal schon auf den Zimmern zur Verfügung hat.

Meine subjektive Meinung: Die Matratzen könnten etwas härter sein.

Pros:

Centrally located. Unique hotel stunning interior with welcoming entrance and fireplace. Our room was nice and bright. Shower was good.

Cons:

Bedroom "Andy Murray" theme was on the small side for the cost of a room. Pillows were hard and not great. Didnt bother with breakfast as pricey. Noisy at night where hotel positioned and music from across went on until 4am.
