The room was comfortable, quite liked the atmosphere and different themes / celebrities of each room. Decor was quite lovely.
Our first impression of the bar staff. Too busy all chatting to see that patrons were waiting at the bar for a drink or to order food, until who we assumed to be the manager arrived. Most days.
Excellent location, good breakfast, hotel ‘reception’ staff were helpful
Bed was comfortable but room was not what I expected for the cost - largely functional, terrible lighting, not cosy at all. Is more like a pub with rooms than a hotel, including the 6am bin collection right under my window! Some bar/breakfast staff were indifferent and service was corresponding patchy.

Staff lacked people skills at reception, bar and breakfast with only 1-2 exceptions.

Staff were polite but no management oversight to assist them.
Bath with shower over requires a handle to get in and out safely. Water on the tiled floor was also a hazard and seeped into the bedroom. No one at reception for 20 minutes or more. Didn’t seem to be 24 hours. Breakfast was chaotic. Orders taken by memory and staff seemed overwhelmed. No sockets for charging phones.
