Friendly hotel.
Pros:

Location was A1. Staff were fantastic.
Bar was unavailable on our night stay ,booked for a function and no hot water next morning. We were given extended check out time and free breakfast which was much appreciated. No big issue for us and will definitely return.

Love the Scottish theme and decadent decoration around the bar area.
Beds are super comfy and the breakfast was extremely filling!

Cons:

Room was a little worn. Handle into the bathroom was almost hanging off. Sockets weren’t secure on the wall. Shower head wasn’t working correctly (reported to reception) But overall this wouldn’t stop me booking again.

romantische Räume, aber kein Luxus, eher so typische, kulturvolle, romantische Hotelzimmer.

Top Lage, schönes Citytrip-Hotel.
Pros:

Für englische Verhältnisse sehr modern und schön. Auch sehr sauber. Die Lage ist absolut perfekt. Man erreicht alles fußläufig. Das Frühstück war schmackhaft. Für das, was geboten wurde (als a la carte Zahler) jedoch teuer. Wir hatten woanders günstiger und besser gefrühstückt. Würde hier wieder buchen, allerdings ohne Frühstück.

Cons:

Die Betten sind sehr hart und der Memoryfoam seltsam un das ganze „weicher“ zu machen. Eine Bettdecke für zwei Personen in Queensize ist ebenfalls nicht besonders. Das Früchstückspersonal (je 3 junge Damen) waren zwar sehr nett aber extrem langsam und unbemüht. Wir mussten täglich ca 45 min aufs Frühstück warten, einmal kam der Kaffee sogar erst später als das Essen, obwohl nur 4 Tische besetzt waren.

Pros:

Very central for us comfortable bed clean suited our needs fir the one night we where there.

Cons:

Breakfast was good I had the brioche french toast with bacon and maple syrup my only gripe is the maple syrup was already on the toast may I suggest putting the maple syrup in a little jug on the side and letting the guest pour on how much the want on there french toast, I felt it was too much on it otherwise it was lovely

Pros:

Room had a mini bar I didnt use but was a nice touch. Dressing gowns n slippers lovely fresh coffee. Bed was comfortable and very good location. Check out was quick and easy area was not busy. 11am check out is a good time on a Sunday.

Cons:

Checking in within a busy bar area.. however it was a Saturday afternoon. Having to access the room through the bar area it would be great to have a specific entrance but understand this may not be possible.
Small ask but a shaving or moveable mirror for makeup bathroom mirror was a bit dimly lit
