Room is Spacious and Clean.
Water pressure is a bit low.
Toothpaste and Toothbrush was not provided.
The hostel is in a central location, close to many shops and restaurants, and only a few minutes from the riverside. Downstairs there is a cafe. The dorm room was big, my bed was comfortable and modern. There are lockers for the personal belongings.
The showers and toilet were decent, but not that clean. I don't blame the staff for guests being dirty, but I would recommend cleaning the bathrooms more frequently.
I slept well. Yes red light district area, but not in the very heart of it, n honestly no one in our dorm was bothered by the low level noise outside - Mattress very comfortable, but my bunk bed shook if above person tossed or turned - Not
enough to wake me at night, but annoying when I
wanted to rest on bed. We had a balcony to dry
towels n clothes n decent cupboard space n floor
space for our luggage. WiFi never failed. The
young staff were very polite n accommodating,
but the senior staff were all about business.
Now these flight of stairs we all talk about and in most of the reviews - Worse than expected I am afraid. 10 steps than one landing, 5 steps than one landing n then another 10 steps equals only one level of hotel, and guess what - another 3 levels to go just like this one before
reaching dorm floor. I left my luggage down on ground floor for the duration of my stay. Also bathroom set up is 🤔. Bathroom in dorm room constantly damp n wet due to a couple of pipes sticking out of wall dripping water on our bathroom floor. In addition to this, when using the sink, the water doesn't fall through a pipe line system, but via sink hole n then directly onto bathroom floor. Regardless, I would stay here again if the stairs were not so challenging.
Beds are quite big, the way the beds are lined up avoids hearing too much noise around you, you just hear the people very next to you.
Big lockers so perfect for bags, plugs, electricity working well.
Reception staff were very nice and welcoming.
The bathrooms are not cleaned often enough, and most of the soap/shower gel dispensera were empty. Still went twice to this hostel, the bathroom are not great yes but still decent and with - a little - hot water.
All other reviews are correct. Lovely staff, but the location must be the worst in Phnom Penh. Banging music untill 03:00 and girls shouting to seduce men on the streets... For each to decide whether you want this.
Amazing hostel, spacious beds in the dorm, clean bedsheets, common area. Super kind and helpful staff. Will return for sure!
Location, beds, big space
Bit noisy to sleeping in the night due the night life around the streets
Dorm was well kept and clean, albeit the bathroom was a bit small. There's a common area outside the dorm room so you can socialize without disturbing sleeping people. Location is great for getting to the Riverwalk, the night market, and top sites. The best fish amok is located down the street!
Large lockers in the room were greatly appreciated.
I did not like that I was lied to when I asked to extend my stay. I was told the dorms were booked for the night but that I could upgrade to a single room for triple the price. Not wanting to pay that much for half a day since I was leaving early, I went back upstairs (7 flights, no elevator) to pack my stuff to switch to another hostel. While on Booking I saw reservations for a dorm bed were indeed available, so I made the reservation there instead and informed the receptionist when I left I had sorted the problem myself.
The hotel is tucked amidst bars/clubs/love hotels so be prepared to walk through that.
Lack of elevator. Any time you have a question for reception, you need to evaluate if it's worth it to go down and come back up with no a/c in the stairwell.
Towels are extra.
The location is good.
Dirty bathroom and rooms.
Located in the centre of everything.
It was beyond disgusting, not cleaned, loud, and unmaintained. The locker provided did not work. No hand soap in the washroom. The AC was not working which was awful considering it was 40-43 degrees hot. Saw a mice in the lobby. Bed has ants crawling in it. Windows are not sound proof so you can hear everything dispirited it being a good location.
It’s in the middle of “red lights” district and feels a little uncomfortable and risky
