Lovely place to stay for a weekend
Pros:

Clean. comfortable with amazing helpful staff. Location was great too

Beware of noisy rooms.
Pros:

Friendly staff. Lovely nreakfast..

Cons:

Noisy kitchen ventilation. Very noisy disco, had to change rooms. No lift, so difficult for some guests. Taxi scam. 5000rps for ride that was 1000rps with Uber.

Good but could have been better without the noise disturbance at night.
Pros:

Excellent location. Friendly and helpful staff.

Cons:

Noise from the hotel’s own night club and bar can make it impossible to sleep at night. Ask for a room as far away from the noise as possible.

A good option
Pros:

I liked the location, easy walk to Park Street. Nice little bar and breakfast was reasonable. Need to be aware there is no lift, there are 81 steps to the suite on the top floor. Staff were very nice.

Cons:

Perhaps lacked a bit of atmosphere in reception. Staff got orders wrong a couple of times and presented us with the bar bill for another couple (as well as our own one) which we paid for by mistake. A expensive error which we were not happy about.

Gracious, understated colonial elegence
Pros:

Feels like a Victorian gentlemen’s club tucked away in the heart of the city. Wood paneling, wainscoting, steampunk objects. Nice terraced bar & smoking area. Excellent kebab restaurant and a mellow breakfast buffet w/ exquisite Indian Muzak.

Wish it had a gym

Great location with heritage building
Pros:

Location is very good and heritage property externally well maintained

Furniture in common areas are heritage and antique

Cons:

Climbing up high stair case no lifts
carpets in common areas not cleaned regularly so a smell of dust from the reception area
Night club and parties happen at the adjoining restaurant and open deck till 3 or 4 am even on weekday
Not professionally run like first room alloted was dark room without window inspite of me telling I have asthama
Then they took 3 hours to make another room ready.
Quality of toiletries not good.

It has a feeling of private guest house but I pay like 4 or 5 star hotel
