Everything was amazing. The apartment is beautiful and the Verse stuff are kind and very helpful. Also the Neighbourhood, which the apartment located in,
is amazing and there is a lot to do in the area
ロケーション。スタッフも親切で、朝ごはんにチョイスがあるのも良い。部屋も随所にこだわりが感じられ、広々していてオシャレ。飲み水も毎日補給してくれる。
・全般的に、宿泊者の好みで評価が分かれるホテル。
・唯一の欠点は浴室。これまで泊まったホテルと比較しても圧倒的に浴室が狭い。特に洗面台付近には物を置く場所もなく、ドライヤーで髪を乾かす時も窮屈。
・お湯の使用制限もあるが、節度ある使い方をすれば大丈夫。ただ日本人には慣れないシステムなので、使用中にお湯止まったらどうしよう、と最初はかなりハラハラ。
・後は好みの問題。日中は自然光で明るいが、夜になると部屋の中が全体的に暗い。雰囲気が良いとも言えるが、高齢者が家族にいるのでダイニングテーブルだけでもランプがあると有難い。
・あとはリスボン市街地の宿命だが、外は夜も目の前を路面電車が行き交うので、多少の騒音は避けられない。(ホテル側もかなり窓に対策を施しているので、音に敏感でなければ気にならない)

The apartment was large and pleasant to stay in, it’s in an area with great coffee shops and bakeries.
There are no details in the flat about the facilities - hot water was restricted but no one told us so my husband had a cold shower. They told us it was to save energy afterwards- a bit late really.
The noise in our apartment when we arrived was from reception where the music was pounding.
The bathroom is the size of a postage stamp.
A lot of money and it didn’t feel quite up to the price tag.

They changed their policies by the time of my stay, which caused issues at check-in. We were literally in the room less than 30 minutes before the front of house complained about noise and banging that never happened! I felt quite targeted being a black female solo traveller and advised I would record my myself and young child during the stay as protection. Bathroom is extremely small in proportion to the room size, therefore used the dining table as an extension of the bathroom. Also shower leaked at the bottom and water would get cold after one use.

We had an excellent stay at The Verse and wouldn’t hesitate to return.
The location is fantastic — Tram 28 stops right outside, making it incredibly easy to get around the city. There are also plenty of great restaurants and independent shops nearby, which really added to the experience.
The staff were outstanding throughout our stay. A particularly thoughtful touch was coming back from breakfast on my birthday to find a small cake waiting for me — such a lovely and unexpected gesture. They were also very helpful with restaurant bookings and recommendations, which we really appreciated.
Everything about the stay was excellent. The only downside was the weather — it must have been some of the wettest we’ve ever experienced in Portugal! That said, it’s given us the perfect excuse to return and stay here again, hopefully under sunnier skies.

From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the hotel’s impeccable condition. The facilities were exceptionally well-maintained, and every corner reflected a genuine commitment to quality. The staff could not have been more welcoming—friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile.
Our room was spacious, thoughtfully designed, and incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring. The location is truly ideal—perfectly situated to enjoy the best of the area while still offering peace and quiet.
Breakfast was a highlight of our stay. We loved the option of having it served in-room for a cozy start to the day, as well as enjoying a delicious bite at the neighboring restaurant, Hello Kristof, which were absolutely delicious.
Overall, this was a perfect blend of comfort, hospitality, and great taste—we can’t wait to return!
If we had to note one opportunity for improvement, it would be that our particular style of room had a bathtub-only design without a walk-in shower option. Near the end of our trip, I was informed that some room styles do include a walk-in shower, which is great to know for future stays.
Overall, a wonderful stay that we would gladly repeat!
We loved the size of the room.. beautifully appointed. All the luxuries of home and more.The staff were amazing especially Lucas the barman who always greeted us with great enthusiasm and affection.

Out of the entire two weeks trip in 11 cities, the Verse is our favorite hotel - we loved the welcoming atmosphere, thoughtful and hospitable staff, the elegant and spacious rooms; the artistic and pleasant interior design, the whole package made our stay memorable and extremely comfortable. We would certainly come back again! This will be our default destination in Lisbon ❤️
