"Please note that the Hotel Imperial is currently undergoing refurbishment. This will take place during daytime hours and should have minimal effect on your stay. Only refurbished rooms will be on sale to book although public areas will still be undergoing transformation during your stay. Pros:

Location and free parking were good for us. Breakfast was well cooked with great choice. Room facilities are basic, but clean

Cons:

Sound leakage from nearby room/s in the early hours ?TV?
Our twin room only had a bedside table beside one bed… on opposite sides of the room.
Lift acting sluggishly on our last morning.

Good overall
Pros:

Good breakfast, available from an early hour which was helpful. The staff with whom I came into contact were pleasant and helpful.

Cons:

All was clean except that the carpet in the corridors is stained and shabby looking.

Pros:

Loved that there was a lift up to the floor i stayed on, the staff were amazing even rang when they found earbuds in the room i was in.

Cons:

The slope towards the room i was staying in that wasnt marked so threw my hip out a few times, stairs down the the room i was on had no banister,the flush and hot tap caused a loud noise when used.

A lovely stay!
Pros:

Great location to nearest sites and supermarkets and they had a secure undercover spot to park our car. Room was spacious and well equipped. Staff were friendly throughout our stay and the breakfast each morning was delicious.
