La ubicación frente al mar con vistas espectaculares, el cuarto muy espacioso y cómodo ,el desayuno completo, la zona de la pileta y el loby
Falta de mantenimiento parte del piso de la habitación levantado , la loza del balcón desprendida , falta de champú. al hacer el reclamo el empleado de turno me dice que es el mismo dispenser que el jabón es decir que para el hotel es lo mismo el gel de duche que el shampu yo creo que la mayoría de la gente diferencia ambas cosas y obviamente no se ofreció a conseguir un sobrecitos de shampu , la caja fuerte antigua con llave y te piden un depósito de garantía por ella , el parking es un terreno baldío en frente del hotel , el agua de la ducha siempre tibia , la bañera muy alta lo cual significa un peligro , el empleado no habla inglés sólo turco
The Otel Lara is must have been an iconic hotel in its heyday located on the cliffs overlooking the Mediterranean and a short walk from ‘Düden (hidden) park and spectacular waterfalls. The views are stunning! The hotel is mainly a stay for travellers having dental treatment and is generally included in the price of treatment so don’t expect much. The photos of the hotel on Booking.com are on average 5 years old and much has changed!!
However, the rooms are small and difficult to move around in particularly if you are an assisted traveler. There are a number of minor steps and rises particularly into the bathroom and shower which caused fall concerns for us with mobility issues. The shower itself is at waist height which meant it had to be hand held to wash hair and upper body again causing stability issues. The rooms seriously need updating with the ill fitting MDF furniture providing little space for storage. The decor was clean but dated and we noticed a hole in the bathroom wall. There was one coat hanger and when we requested more, we were given two so bring your own. The bed is soft but we slept well and the cleaners visited daily to remove rubbish, replace toilet rolls, towels and linen if needed. There is an expensive minibar with price list for the desperate and prices are made up on the spot at the Flora and Tesco minimarts which are again expensive. It’s best to find a MIGROS supermarket for real value!
Breakfasts are basic but edible between the hours of 7-10 and meals are served in the hotel cooked by the La Vera restaurant next door. The pastas and shareable pizzas are great and cost around 800 TL. Beers are 400TL with spirits and wine dearer. A short walk away is ROBERTS cafe where coffees and cake, beers and wine are served at lower prices and attracts many locals. Further into Düden Park and close to the falls is a bakery, Despressos (coffee and donut chain of shops) and a fantastic fish restaurant where you pick your own fish to be bbqd or grilled and cost 1750 TL for 2 fish, chip, salad and non alcoholic drinks!
Antalya is a great City to visit and there are better hotels than this to stay at if you have the choice. We will not be returning.
Wyndham hotel in Antalya. Thank you for an amazing week in Turkey! We would like to especially thank the spa team from the front of house to the massage therapists who were all fantastic. I have left Turkey feeling relaxed and re-energised after such a wonderful time. Importantly, after a week of treatments at the spa I leave with no pain in my shoulder, and the best sleep after living with pain for over 6 years. Thanks to the spa team! Who were all lovely and highly skilled therapists. I look forward to our next stay! Michelle

Lage ist traumhaft. Gute Anbindung nach Antalya Altstadt durch Busse.
Die Reinigung des Zimmers wurde nicht optimal durchgeführt. Haare lagen im Wohnbereich und Bad auf dem Boden.
Das Zimmer war sehr hellhörig. Grund ist der Durchbruch in der Zwischenwand zum Nachbarzimmer, in dem der Schrank steht. Gespräche in normaler Lautstärke sind hörbar und dadurch sehr störend.
Die Matratze war leider schon sehr durchgelegen.
Insgesamt ist das Hotel in die Jahre gekommen und die Zimmer sollten modernisiert werden (neue Matratzen, neue Möbel).

Слышимость в номере. Закрыт проход на пляж и ненаполнен бассейн.

The place is older than it looks in the photos. The elevator is super slow, so better to walk sometimes.
Hotel schön gelegen am Meer und neben einem grossen Park. Zimmer mit kleinem Balkon und Meerblick. Reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet. Nebenan dazugehörendes "A la Carte"-Restaurant mit guter Küche und nettem Service.
Das Gebäude ist alt, wirkt ungepflegt, Kaputtes wird oft nicht repariert. Kein Safe-Schlüssel vorhanden. Ausser dem Bett keine Sitzgelegenheit (Stuhl...) im Zimmer. 2 Tage lang kein warmes Wasser (Leitung sei kaputt).
Food was good although I found the evening meals and bar drinks to be quite expensive
