I would absolutely recommend Sand Camp Oman to anyone looking for a once-in-a-lifetime desert experience. The hospitality was exceptional — the staff were genuinely kind, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay.

One highlight was watching the sunset from the top of a dune right behind the camp. The host drove us up, and the view over the desert was simply breathtaking.

The dinner far exceeded our expectations, especially in such a remote setting. The kebabs were made with high-quality meat, and the traditional Arabic sweets were delicious — a wonderful taste of local cuisine.

For those concerned about driving in the desert, the camp offers a convenient pick-up service from a meeting point where you can safely park your car for free. The camp also provides activities such as camel riding, dune bashing, and sandboarding, making the whole experience even more memorable.

The desert stay was definitely the highlight of my 8-day trip in Oman, and I would recommend it to anyone considering a visit to the desert.

We were seating on a bonfire after the dinner and watching the stars which was super nice.

A place I will definitely return to! The Sand Camp is beautifully designed and very well maintained, offering an authentic and comfortable desert experience. Badr, the owner and manager, was exceptionally friendly, cooperative, and genuinely attentive to guests’ needs. His assistant was also extremely helpful. Many thanks to both of them. The camp is perfectly located in the heart of the Biddiya sands—clean, welcoming, and truly enjoyable.

Attractions

Our stay was amasing. The host wellcomed us with coffee and fruits. He was very kind, responding immediately to all our requestst. The breakfast was very good, and the staff did our New Year Eve at the desert unforgettable experience.

Sand Camp is like a home away from home in the desert. Badr and the staff make you feel like you are guests in their home and not customers in a resort. They manage all issues and queries personally. The breakfast and dinner options were amazing and good value for money.

Nous avons adoré l’hospitalité et la gentillesse de toute l’équipe. Les excursions ont été juste incroyable, le logement était très propre, la nourriture était excellente.
Il répondent à nos besoins très rapidement, ils sont d’une amabilité incroyable ! Nous recommandons à 200%, allez y les yeux fermés vous ne serez pas déçu.

Tutto veramente indescrivibile, il titolare é stato super gentile e premuroso facendoci vivere un’esperienza indimenticabile, ad iniziare dal ritrovo al punto d’incontro, al giro in Jeep e con i cammelli (che consiglio assolutamente) e per finire con la cena il falo’ sotto il cielo…le stanze sono super e anche il fatto di avere la piscina non é male

Superbe emplacement dans le désert, très grande chambre, propre et calme.
Accueil très gentil du propriétaire qui a tout fait pour satisfaire nos demandes. Incroyable service clients. Si je pouvais je mettrai 12/10 tellement nous avons apprécié notre séjour
