Peaceful yet exciting - great value
Pros:

Incredible stay, wish we were there longer than 2 nights! We had a private hut in the back of the garden. Very clean, very spacious.

The room came with a big mosquito net, kitchen with fridge/cooker and a hammock/dining area.

The best part is that you're away from the street noise and loved the sound of birds in the morning.

The location was excellent, your 10mins walk from the main town area, next door to St Bernardino (they host Mexican history light shows most nights).

The staff were terrific, and organised a taxi for the day for us to explore Chichen Itza and Ek Balam (not expensive either!).

Felt like a tropical island paradise stay.

Valladolid in general is lovely, having visited Merida right before. Valladolid is green, lots of great restaurants (we ate at Sikil which was excellent) - biggest discovery was El Patio for brunch (only 5mins walk away). Very welcoming town, very safe.

Cons:

No real downsides or negatives! The shower takes a little while to heat up but that's become expected from staying around Yucatan.

Loved our stay!
