Perfect for what we needed
Pros:

Central location for getting around and exploring Cochin. Good size room with everything you need. Good breakfast and restaurant for lunch and dinner if required. Staff extremely helpful.

I like the filtered pictures put on booking.com to fool people..

Cons:

The pictures.shown on booking.com are all with filters. It's a very old run down and damp property. The room are old and barely lock. Corridors smell damp and old.

The flask that the tea is served at the breakfast buffet is older than my grandmother. I have taken pictures of all this.

I need a refund from the hotel Abad Fort at Fort Kochi.

Perfect for what I needed
Pros:

Lovely spacious room with all the in room facilities like tea/coffee, fridge and tv.
Reception staff very polite and helpful, even when asking about how to get to places within the area.
The restaurant has a good size menu with various options.

Cons:

The restaurant was very busy so had to wait for 10 minutes for a menu but food came quickly. Treated myself to a brownie but it came out burnt!!

Value for money.
Pros:

Breakfast was adequate. More than this would be an overkill. Breakfast quality was also good. But I prefer that breakfast started by 7 AM.

Cons:

Only one bottle of water for a room occupied by 2 guests. Access for car to drop off guests. Bus stop is a hinderance to guests especially when trying to get a taxi or auto.

Pros:

Staff were very friendly and helpful, going out of their way to help us. Dipu and team were especially attentive. Food at the restaurant is decent. Location is super convenient and central.

Cons:

We booked two rooms. Both were facing the road. One had better sound proof windows while the other was noisy due to the constant flow of traffic outside. However, our overall experience was more than satisfactory.

Pros:

Staff were very friendly and the restaurant food was great, they couldn't do enough for you.

Cons:

Rooms were old, I am aware that they are upgrading rooms but make sure you get a room on the second floor as the old rooms are a disappointment.

I don’t recommend it.

The AC was working well and the room was spacious.

Cons:

The place is dirty. There was a cockroach in the bathroom. Water took a while to heat up for the shower.

Pros:

Good location, clean rooms, and clean washroom.

Cons:

There was a smell from the AC, which was later rectified. We asked for a 1-hour extension on the checkout time but the staff was noncooperative, so that was a bit weird considering the stay duration is just 21 hours.
