Nice pub in lovely location

Room only have a bed and a small fridge.

No table, no chair, nothing.

Room was full of dust and we fell sick 🤮 by inhaling all the dust.

Nice period pub with clean and functional accommodation above. Loved it !
Pros:

It is a typical 'above the pub' room. It was newly renovated, large room, very clean and with a quality bed/mattress/linen.
It certainly did the job for a quick trip up to Newcastle for the A-League football. It is also within a decent walk (30mins) to McDonald Jones Stadium.

Cons:

The shared bathroom needed the light bulb replaced and hence, was quite dark.

My go to place to stay in Newcastle
Pros:

I love the clean fresh rooms, the location and the reiendly staff.

Cons:

The blinds in my room were not able to be raised and lowered.
The air conditioning was not working properly.
I have stayed there before so these problems were not usual.

Cheap comfy stay in a nice location across from the park.
Pros:

Lovely pub with a friendly easy vibe.
Bed was comfy and room was clean. Shared bathroom was spacious and tidy. Check out was easy as there is no keys to hand back as access is via a code on the doors.

Cons:

Not much to fault as the price was good for what it was
