Location convenient
Drilling downstairs in day of arrival, no controlled aircon despite marketed. Breakfast was below par and the staff and help was shocking. Couldn’t even get a latte sent to my room in the morning

Everything was exceptional. The hotel apartment is beautifully designed and located in a safe, quiet, and prestigious neighborhood right in the heart of Cape Town. The surroundings are peaceful yet central, making it the perfect base for exploring the city. The service was excellent, with attentive and friendly staff. We also appreciated the secure free parking and the delicious breakfast. A truly wonderful stay.

The location, facilities and accommodation were absolutely superb! Every single one of the staff members made us feel welcome, safe and valued.
Junior in particular on security (alongside all the other lovely gentlemen) greeted us with a friendly smile every time we came and went and was pleased to see our safe return. Gardener Ben helped us with our luggage and was never too busy to stop and chat about the weather and flowers and was a wonderful treat to see him daily working incredibly hard! Caroline and Owen were a joy to see at breakfast, always remembering our orders and Caroline in particular making us feel welcome, valued and looking after our every need. The rooms were huge, spotlessly clean and so very comfortable. We forgot we were sharing the complex with other residents but when we saw them they were friendly and chatty and enjoyed our travel stories. I will genuinely miss our time here and would recommend it to everyone. Thank you team.
If I had to pick one negative I would say that the breakfasts were on the lean side. A very small portion of eggs on toast / a full English OR muesli for breakfast and a coffee. While this was prepared exceptionally well, we are used to getting a bit more to start our busy days with big appetites. Not a negative just an observation. Also the bar / restaurant isn’t open past five, again not a negative but worth noting incase you need anything.
Breakfast was really good and very well priced. We were treated with respect and courtesy by all the staff and felt they went over and beyond to assist us with any of our queries and requests.
Due to our circumstances (one of our party being hospitalized) we would have liked a little later check-out time (12h00 rather than 10h00). Although we did put through a query in this regard, we were unable to convince the staff to accede to this request. Management may want to consider allowing such a request under exceptional circumstances, especially in once-off situations.

That all is closed from 5 pm most days - would love to have access to a drink or some ice … may be an honesty bar could work well or some options in the room bar fridge
We loved the secluded nature of the property. It’s a 126 year old property which shows its age but is very well maintained! Security excellent . Staff were very friendly and efficient ! We arranged a morning tea for 10 people in the garden area and the support and service provided by the staff was excellent!!
