Staff were amazing, so accommodating and friendly. special shout out to Shaz, Bruce & Ryan. Food sublime. Gardens well attended and beautiful.
Farm animals in the grounds were really good to see.
The Pub was not quite so good, staff need to smile more and engage with customers.
Beautiful property, exceptional food and wonderful staff. Highly recommended!

Excellent breakfast. Fabulous quality food in a beautiful dining room. The grounds were superb and well kept. We were welcomed by a charming man who showed us to our room.
Pillows could have been a bit better, they weren't the best quality. The bathroom was fine but would have expected a higher standard at this level of hotel. A few extras such as a pool would have been welcome.
Idyllic situation with lovely setting and gardens so tranquil. Staff were very professional but friendly and helpful. The food is outstanding and so worth experiencing. I need a walk in shower so was limited to rooms that had those facilities. The room we had and wonderful views and was very quiet.
We were at the top of the hotel and getting water out of the shower was very slow and not much power , staff said they were aware, the bed in our room was very high so much so stepping stools had been put under it which I certainly needed. The bed head was broken which was noted by George who took us to our room . There was a chair I'm the bar that the bottom was hanging off which was mot a good look.
Fabulous hotel! Great setup. Wonderful service and fabulous food.
The setting is exceptional, with perfectly manicured gardens and decore. The staff is excellent, pro-active and will cater to all the needs in a very familiar yet professional way. You feel at home!
It was slightly hot in the bedroom but it's the downside of old country houses/castles that can't have all the modern comfort (and who can expect very hot weather in Wales anyway!)
Wouaouaoahhhh!!!!

The food was excellent (breakfast and dinner) and the location in north Wales beautiful.
The Welsh roads.
Lovely property and our fourth stay here. Dinner and breakfast were superb, overall hotel and upgrades made each time we stay show the owners investment.
We stayed in Denbigh this time and it was probably the most disappointing room. Felt like it needed some updating. Didn’t spoil our visit but definitely not as well turned out as the other rooms we have stayed in.
Really lovely building and decorated exceptionally.
The TV was in a little room so you couldn’t watch it in bed.
Dinner was very good, staff were amazing but it was very expensive.
Both superb
Bedroom window did not open so I found it to be a little too warm.
Super impressive historical house, backed up friendly and efficient staff and exceptional food.
