We liked everything about Pale Hall, excellence All round.

From the moment we walked in it felt so cosy and welcoming . The staff were so friendly . We were shown around the wine cellar and the private dining space .. which was fabulous . We then got shown around the art gallery and pottery room by a delightful lady . Our room was immaculate !
We went down to dinner and were treated so well by the bar staff and the Maitre de Maison Josh . It was a perfect stay from start to finish
We loved everything .. and feel that next time we come there will be something new and different to enjoy !
Beautifully decorated

Nothing!
Beautiful location in Snowdonia area, house is stunning and the grounds are fantastic - a walk around revealed wooden and metal sculptures that were both impressive and fun to find. The people working at Pale Hall were attentive, friendly and informative. We were offered a welcome glass of champagne in the Whiskey Room and a brief tour of the property including the wine cellar where wine tastings can be booked. We indulged in the exquisite 6 course tasting menu during the evening (by Luke Selby, the resident michelin chef) and a wine pairing expertly put together by the sommelier. We had a classic room - roomy, stunning decor, luxurious, spotless and comfortable. Large bottles of water provided - both sparkling and still, together with an ice bucket (filled). And a welcome cake - honey and Penderyn Whiskey with lavender - beautifully presented and delicious. The breakfast was, in our opinion, the best we have eaten in a hotel. We loved our visit (you have probably guessed this by now) and will definitely return.
No complaints whatsoever. I wish we had asked for a list of the wines we tried.
A fabulous place with amazing food and excellent service. Was way beyond expectations, loved every minute
There isn’t anything not to like
Beautiful building and surroundings, cozy communal spaces.
Often reception didn’t answer the phone, bed linen could have been higher quality for the standard of the hotel. The lighting in the room could have been warmer and make it feel cosier in the room.
Staff were outstanding.
Food was excellent although Michelin star dining is not my favourite, would have been happy to pay top price even for less elaborate food.
Grounds and setting
hotel decor
lovely friendly staff
sculpures and art exhibition
lovely food
bed in turret room was too soft and kept falking into the middle
The restaurant was fabulous. The breakfast was excellent. The bed was extremely comfortable.
Did think the lack of curtains in the suite's lounge was an annoyance. Also the lack of a door closer on the bathroom adjacent to to the Westminster Suite was an annoyance. I do not think the check-in process was appropriate. My wife did not need to be party to the charges for the stay. It was a surprise treat for her. Financial details are to be kept between the receptionist and the bill payer.
Enjoyed setting, nestled in valley/countryside. Good choice of seating & spaces to drink. Bars, including the available whiskeys and cocktails, were enjoyable. Nice touch of complimentary champagne on arrival and chef’s cake in the room. Plus water for onward journey.
Bathroom, in Harlech room, was basic, tired & under maintained. Lukewarm shower, with blocked drain leading to standing water. Shower weak/not powerful, bath overflow broken, and light out over shower/bath.
Would recommend check in staff make visitors aware of options available to guest eg sauna/steam, grounds, art exhibition (although newsletter in room, more promotion warranted).
Beautiful hotel, period, antiques and contemporary art works. Setting just wonderful.
Relaxing professional friendly historical and fabulous food
Liked everything
