Pros:

Otelden cok ev konforuna sahip, eski konak tarzı mistik bir hava katıyor. Odalar temiz ve ferah..otel sahibi hanımefendi bize aileden biriymişiz gibi davrandı.Cok sıcak ve samimi insanlar.. kahvaltı mükemmeldi ve yemekler cok lezzetliydi. Tekrar yolumuz düşerse gönül rahatlığıyla burda kalırız.

A clean traditional Turkish wooden house in a perfect location.
Pros:

The location is perfect if you want to explore the old town of Safranbolu. Historic Cinci Han Kervansaray is right in front of the hotel. Hidirlik Tepesi (Hill) is within walking distance and so is Kent Historic Museum and Tarihi Saat Kulesi (historic clock tower).

Another plus point is that the Konak building is located in a relatively flat area where taxi can park right in front of it, making it easy to carry your luggage to the room, in case your luggage is heavy. Some other hotels require you to "climb" before reaching the lobby as the terrain there is very hilly.

As the room I booked was not occupied the night before, I could check in as early as 8:30 AM without extra charge. Normal check in time is 12:00.

Cons:

The windows are not air-tight. Cold air enters through the small window gap, making the room a bit too cold for me. As I stayed in September, heater was not operational. However, the temperature did drop to 13 C (55 F) at night.

Great experience in the heart of the city
Pros:

A historic building in the center of the city, very clean, nice hosts, good and varied breakfast, we also ate a delicious dinner at the restaurant on the ground floor, parking in front.

Great stay
Pros:

Everything. The hosts were so nice to us. Breakfast and dinner was delicious! Location is perfect. Room was small which was expected since it’s an old building but it’s so clean & cosy. I would recommend staying here and I would also love to return and stay here again!
