AFA Hotel

Toilet seat was loose. As in: not connected to the toilet. A previous reviewer has also described it, so it is probably the same room. Otherwise, there are the same problems with several rooms.

The hotel has potential. The location is good, but a dedicated effort is missing - in relation to the price. There are so many hotels in the area, where you can get the same or more for a better price. All in all it ends up with an average rating.

Convenable tout simplement.
Petit bémol : Avis d’un utilisateur , 15 jours auparavant non pris en compte par le gérant, que nous réitérons soit la lumière du couloir qui passe à travers l’encadrement de la porte de chambre et qui reveille à chaque passage d’un client sans compter les nuisances sonores de chaque client qui rentre, la porte de la SDB qui ne tient pas fermée, la paroi de douche mal pensée et qui fait que ça inonde partout. Cendrier de son bar attenant vidé sous mes yeux entre deux voitures!!!
Par contre, choix des chambres à modifier: la vue sur la mer n’existe casi plus. Un autre hôtel plus grand est en construction entre la plage et l’hôtel.
Le gérant tiendra t-il compte de cet avis????

Mass tourism means that this hotel is always fully booked. No elevator, no receptionist, no decent breakfast, no room cleaning. Sea view blocked by an unfinished tower; to one side a noisy kid space, to the other a mountain of garbage. A string of nearby restaurants all selling overcooked, tasteless "traditional" dishes to stray dogs and customers alike. Welcome to AFA!

Nice, modern hotel with a catch. New hotel is being constructed in front of AFA hotel and blocks view except for 4 rooms in the left corner. Also, expect noise from construction. This should be mentioned in the hotel description.

Väldigt trevligt bemötande.
Bra läge med nära till strand och in till Durrës.
Stod att det skulle va städning varje dag men vi fick endast 2 av 6 dagar.
Duschvägg monterades under vistelsen, innan dess svämmade golvet av vatten vid dusch. Så det blev ju lite bättre med väggen sen.
Lite dåligt med påfyllning av toalettpapper. Vi fick lösa det själv då det aldrig satt nån i receptionen. Helt ok frukost på annat hotel i närheten. Överlag helt ok, man får ju vad man betalar för… ;-)

Nice hotel.
But weird in that at reception it said check in at the hotel across the road and for breakfast. I had a room on the 1st floor, but on the 2nd floor it seemed the people who looked after the hotel stayed. I don't know if the 2nd floor was open plan, but all you could hear was the baby, mother & grandmother all the time. It was silent at night though. Room and facilities including the bed were superb. Just the carers of the place made a racket.

Väldigt trevlig litet hotell, kanske inget för den som söker ett hotell komplex utan ett mindre familjärt hotell.

Very nice place to stay. Practically on the beach.The rooms was very nice (Had beach view) with balcony. The staff was kind and helpful especially the receptionist who was always smiling and helpfull if there was something i was unsure of :) The pizza in the restaurant was also delicious and very nice waitress there also. Not english menu but she explained everything perfectly :) Will definitely go back :)
