Good hotel.
Pros:

Property was clean and well run. Elevator worked. Breakfast was okay. Right on promenade. Bus was close by.

Cons:

Too far from center of town.

Would stay again but in a different room not room 6 and I read that room 7 is worse

Couldn’t leave the bathroom window open for extra ventilation during the hot weather due to the heating oil smell every time it fired up and you could hear it during the night we were in room 6

Good value small hotel on Douglas sea front
Pros:

Very good room right on the sea front at Douglas. Good breakfast.

Cons:

It was a bit further along the front than I expected so a bit of a walk, though there is a bus stop nearby.

Reception was unstaffed so I had to ring them.

Only little gripes. The room was a bit too warm for us. The tea and coffee were on a high shelf which was difficult for a short person.

Pros:

Классическая гостиница в центре Дугласа. В номере есть небольшой чайник, и только. Номер довольно просторный. Есть возможность припарковаться на улице на 16 часов, но, как заверил администратор, это можно игнорировать и стоять дольше.
Недалеко находится Spar и станция конного трамвая. Можно смело брать, если подходит цена.

Cons:

Если достался номер с внутренней стороны, то там снизу расположена какая-то вентиляция, которая иногда может быть очень шумной ночью. Просите номер с видом на море

Excellent budget hotel on the seafront, not too far from the main town (about 1/2 to 3/4 mile).
Pros:

Good sized, clean rooms with en-suite. Windows opened for fresh air, No significant noise from other rooms or nearby (other than bikes on the main prom road - but it was the start of TT practice week!). The taxi firm recommended by the hotel, 'Elegance', where excellent - offering a timely service at a reasonable cost, with friendly drivers and telephone staff.

Cons:

Continental breakfast was limited - although many will find it adequate.
Steps to main entrance not accessibility friendly.
Lift is small, and a little disconcerting as it drops a couple of inches when you get in. Not for those who are nervous or claustrophobic!
