Perfect hotel in a great location for skiing at Baqueira Beret - we will definitely visit again...
Pros:

In terms of a location for skiing, the hotel is superb. It's about a 10 min drive to the gondola at 1500m (but the cost of the car park there is €15 ish a day. Better off driving to Parquing Orri (1800m) or Parking Bonaigua (2000m) and parking there for free - both are ski in/ski out. The hotel itself is exquisite, the rooms are spacious, light and airy - make sure the air con unit works though, ours didn't and it makes for a warm night even in early spring. The hotel bar and restaurant are also superb, the staff are so friendly, nothing is too much trouble. The breakfasts are extensive and served from 7.45am

Cons:

Nothing specific about the hotel - the air con as I said didn't work, but then I didn't bring it up with the hotel owner either. For any visitor to the resort - Salardu - it's quiet, even in the ski season - very little opens Mon-Weds, we struggled immensely - maybe go down to Arties or Vielha - that's not ideal for apres though, something to be aware of.

Wonderful stay in Salardu
Pros:

Spacious, very clean and comfortable room. The entire hotel seems new, it was cozy, clean and the personnel was kind and always available. We will definitely visit it again.
