Pros:

Very clean and airy. We each had a Queen sized bedroom on the 2nd floor. Ato Atakilti the owner greeted us warmly and we felt looked after. The hotel arranged airport pick-up and the wonderfully helpful Yemane took care of us during our short stay.

Pros:

One of the most comfortable stays in Ethiopia. Located close to everything. We always had hot water. The owner is able to set you up with tour guides if you'd like, and is very receptive to all of your needs and questions.

Fantastic stay in Axum
Pros:

The place is spotlessly clean and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful.

The hotel is on a quiet side road and is only a 5 minute walk from good restaurants.
There is a great coffee shop opposite the hotel.
I was made so welcome by Ephrem and his family ❤️

Cons:

Power cuts. Not the hotels fault at all and they have even purchased a generator to help minimise the effects!

Excellent stay at DELINA Hotel
Pros:

Everything was perfect in this hotel. Room is big with comfy mattress. Wifi works decently. Staff is very welcoming and helpful. Free airport pick up or to go to the airport.

Would recommend Hotel Delina
Pros:

Lovely little guesthouse, spotlessly clean and easy walking distance to several of the key Axum sites. Ephrem, the owner/manager, was very welcoming, and made contact with me as soon as I made my reservation to confirm everything . He also organised a really excellent tour guide (Mekonen) for me through his tour company (Debradamotours@gmail.com).

Cons:

The power cuts but that isn’t the fault of the guesthouse - hopefully they might be able to invest in a generator at some point. A little hotel restaurant would be nice, especially given the limited selection of places to eat around Axum.
