Quiet and pretty environment. Simple and basic facility, but it was perfect for a hub to come back to after activities. Breakfast and dinner were prepared upon request. For dinner, a fixed menu was prepared freshly in the kitchen. It was delicious.
There are a few RDarma, and this could be confusing for the TukTuk or car driver. So make sure you know which one.
Het personeel was erg zorgzaam en lief.
Het eten was elke dag weer een feest. Hele ruime kamer. Letterlijk om de hoek bij de Borobodur, ideaal.

It's in the middle of the fields, really nice surroundings

A proximité de Borobudur Temple (20 mn à pied).
Très bel hôtel calme et confortable.
Belle piscine.
The location was fantastic, a short walk to town and the temple. The local children were on school holidays and would fly their kites from the road across the rice paddies, it was great as we would talk to them when out walking. We were the only guests and it was a wonderful peaceful break on our holiday in Java.
More meal options or even access to a kitchen and refrigerator would be great.
Breakfast was freshly made , Tasty Enjoyable & was adequate.
location is very exotic with paddy & greenery around. Was something unique for city person.
In shower area curtains sd be provided to avoid splashing of shower water on floor which can get slippery & cause one to slip.
Amazing hotel, the staff were very welcoming and friendly(very amazing with helping us plan day trips), the location was perfect with close proximity to Borobudur temple, they offer dining (local dishes) which was delicious, and the overall property had a very tranquil atmosphere
Nothing , it was perfect
This place was great. The location was in a bit of a village-feel area, not long from the local market, which we liked a lot. It was nice having some rice/chilli fields next to the hotel, and local kids came to fly their kits on the driveway at dusk.
The hotel guys gave us a quick lift to the temple on their motorbikes, to save our daughter walking the 15 minutes to the entrance. (Note that the temple entrance moved in April, although it was not well documented in the internet in June 2025).
The rooms were big and nice. The breakfast area and pool were also nice.
Just a note, the place was more beautiful than we expected, and we wonder if maybe the photos could be redone to get the feeling across more?
What an amazing experience! Extremely helpfull and very professional staff who helped us with everything. The dinner was star worthy, amazing flavours, a whole and special experience. Our best food we had in our one month travel in Indonesia. The room is splendid, architecture is divine! We felt like kings. Gunder was our driver, he is also very recommended!
Also, the most important tip: visit Borobudur center and not just the temples, that was for us the best experience, even better then the temple, the people of Borobudor with an amazing big heart so friendly and genuine. So go visit the center, the market is very close.
Great location - walking distance to the Borobudur temple. Free bike hire. Tasty breakfast and dinner. Helpful staff.
It's beautifully designed and finished, with just six 6 or 7 spacious 1-bedroom villas around a pool and dining area. The design takes inspiration from the nearby Borabodur temple, which is just 10 minutes away on a bicycle, or 5 mins on the back of a scooter. Excellent cooking from the young chef, who makes everything to order, with lots of local dishes available. The location is quiet and peaceful - except for the regular call to prayer blasting from four or five nearby mosques every couple of hours.
It's as if they ran out of money after building the place and couldn't afford to fit it out properly. There's no chair or table in the room, no kettle or mini-fridge/mini-bar. The bedding is cheap and mismatched.
No kettle is a problem for English tea drinkers, because the black tea was weak and lukewarm. They use hot water from a thermos, which is fine for green tea or jasmine tea, but useless for English black tea with milk. If they don't want kettles in rooms, maybe they could have a communal tea area with boiling water available.
Disappointing, because while room rates are reasonably priced, it's not inexpensive. And odd, because they have two other, larger properties close by, so they're not new to hospitality for international guests.
