Milennium Hotel Nouadhibou

My four friends and I rode the iron ore train and wanted a place that was both comfortable and had good amenities. This place delivered on all fronts. The staff even upgraded me to a suite!! Which was very nice of them. The breakfast is awesome and the staff were very helpful in arranging transport back to Nouakchott. The hotel owner drove us to the bus station and made sure we got on the correct bus. Cant recommend this place enough!

Lovely staff - very friendly.
The hotel was in a good condition. Some fixtures were showing ages/use, but they all worked.
WiFi was a good speed.
Hot water and nice water pressure.
Staff helped me book a taxi (although price was a bit high). Maybe be better to walk to main road (2 blocks away) and flag a green taxi instead).
Located close to airport, some eateries and grocery shops. About 1hr walk (or 20 min taxi) to International ATM.

Es war sehr komfortabel, es waren alle super freundlich und wir wurden nach der Eisenerz Zugfahrt super aufgenommen sodass wir gut erholen konnten. Der Manager konnte sehr gut englisch was sehr half da wir weder französisch, noch arabisch sprechen.

Après une longue journée épuisante entre frontières, formalités complexes et imprévus administratifs, j’ai enfin trouvé une lueur de réconfort dans ce pays : l’hôtel Millennium.

Tout y est impeccable ! L’équipe est d’une gentillesse remarquable, toujours souriante et aux petits soins. Mention spéciale au propriétaire et au jeune homme à ses côtés — probablement son fils — dont la générosité, la bienveillance et la réactivité m’ont sincèrement touché.

Et que dire de la cuisine… un vrai régal ! Des plats savoureux, bien présentés, et servis avec le cœur.

Merci infiniment pour cette belle parenthèse, vous avez transformé une journée compliquée en une soirée mémorable. Je reviendrai, c’est certain !

L'appartement est très agréable et très propre, les draps et les serviettes sont fournis, c'est un hôtel très bien situé, le petit déjeuner est copieux et le service est parfait. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel !

I had an excellent stay at the Millennium Hotel. The property is new, calm, and beautifully designed, with a personalized touch that truly makes a difference. The room was part of a small, well-thought-out unit—modern, functional, and spotlessly clean. The continental breakfast was complete and delicious. The service was impeccable, and the location is both peaceful and ideally situated. What I appreciated most was the absolute quiet—no noise during the day or at night, making it a true haven of peace. A truly remarkable experience—I highly recommend it!

The people there are very kind. And I suppose that for the standards of Mauritania the quality may be good.
