Poor experience
Pros:

When I arrived at the hotel it was all closed up and I had to go around the back of the building to be let in. They did not seem to be expecting me. The elderly man in the property did not speak any English. The restaurant was closed and so no food was available, not even breakfast the next morning. When I asked where I could eat, I was told “Centre” with a wave of the hand. There was WiFi signal but no internet connection. When I later asked a young woman about this, she said “There is a problem in the village” and yet I could get internet access without any problem at another hotel 500 m away. A most disappointing experience. Not as described by Booking.com! It’s a “family hotel” but a colder, more unfriendly place you could not imagine.

Pros:

Very nice family hotel. Clean rooms with great balcony view. Great location - close to Samokov and perfect if you are going to Rila National Park and the mountains. The hosts and the staff are very nice and friendly. There is a restaurant in the hotel and the food is great too. I will definitely come back again. Many thanks.
