Charming area with the most lovely and helpful hosts and comfortable room :)

Schöne familiengeführte Pension mit super Frühstück, traumhaftem Ausblick und toller Lage
Pros:

Wir haben als Familie 3 Nächte in der Vila Sela verbracht. Es hat uns wirklich sehr gut gefallen. Die Vila Sela liegt etwas oberhalb am Hang in Shkodra, dadurch hat man einen traumhaften Ausblick über den See und die Landschaft. Außerdem ist es Abends schön ruhig. In ein paar Minuten ist man zu Fuß unten an der Seepromenade, wo es viele Restaurant und Cafés gibt. Am Hotel selbst gibt es ausreichend Parkplätze.

Das Zimmer ist sehr modern eingerichtet, sauber und in top Zustand. Alles war wie beschrieben. Der Gastgeber war äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit, hat gleich am Anfang gefragt, was die Kinder gerne frühstücken wollen, war die ganze Zeit über sehr aufmerksam und hat uns auch beim Organisieren eines Ausflugs zum Koman-Stausee geholfen.

Seine Frau und er bereiten das landestypische frühstück jeden Tag liebevoll zu und es wird auch auf Sonderwünsche Rücksicht genommen. Es war wirklich hervorragend.

Alles in allem ein toller Aufenthalt in einer familiengeführten Pension. Der Gastgeber ist mit Herzblut dabei - und das merkt man.

Cons:

Es gab keine Zimmerservice, was uns bei 3 Nächten aber auch nicht wirklich gestört hat. Ab und zu nachfragen, ob alles passt, wäre gut gewesen (uns ist z.B. das Toilettenpapier ausgegangen).

We were travelling toward Theth and needed to stay a night in shkoder. We found this gem just outside of the city. It was reasuring to get notifications throughout the day indicating that we were well looked after. The staff greeted us and were super nice and accomodating. We were given a family room (family of 5), which was prepared for our needs, clean and comfy. The highlight was the wonderful breakfast we had on the porch overlooking the lake. It was sweet and short

Hotel zum Wohlfühlen
Pros:

Vila Sela ist ein familiengeführtes Hotel, mit sehr freundlichem und engagiertem Personal; unser Zimmer war im Haupthaus mit seitlichem Blick auf den Shkodrasee; für den Besuch der wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten rund um Shkodra wurde uns eine Tour zusammengestellt (auf Google-Maps); das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und aus eigenem Anbau sowie frisch zubereitet. Das Frühstück nahmen wir auf der überdachten Terrasse mit wunderbarem Blick auf den See ein; dort kommt man mit anderen Gästen leicht ins Gespräch; im nahegelegenen Ort gibt es reichlich Restaurants zur Auswahl;

Cons:

Für den abendlichen Aufenthalt auf der Terrasse wäre es schön, wenn vom Hotel noch ein paar Getränke (z. B. in einem aufgestellten Kühlschrank) angeboten werden würden (wäre auch eine zusätzliche Einnahmequelle für's Hotel)
