Room is basic and not much sunlight, it has a fan at the ceiling. It is quiet and the family was friendly.
It is not easy to let in fresh air because the windows are shut, the room had a strange smell i couldn't get rid of.
Really good location, just one block away from the beach. Friendly and accommodating host.
No hot water and no wifi (Dialog data didn’t work so well). The room didn’t smell too nice, it was a bit mouldy. If not that smell, I wouldn’ve rated it higher. Overall - pretty good value for the price, especially if you don’t stay in your room for too long.
Place was clean, staff was very helpful, good value for the money
The room is totally adequate with a moderately comfortable bed. The location on a quiet alleyway but near the main town is perfect. The owners are friendly. Good water pressure. Cheap and private.
The dogs are a big problem. They are huge, intimidating, and bark at everything including me everytime I walked by. I was extremely uncomfortable. If you can't stay calm with an angry German Shepard in your face, don't stay here. The room also smelled funky and cockroaches kept appearing all throughout my stay. The fan doesn't do a very good job of actually airing out the room unless you have all the doors and windows open. And there is nowhere to hang out outside so it's either stinky hot room or go somewhere else.
i like the location of property it was most near the sea beach. calm environment & atmosphere without any human disturbance. and arrangment in room was good. cleanliness was good.
barking of two dogs was nuisance in the property and try to catch me was not good. ok i was not afraid of that but in case of untoward situation, i would be in a medical emergency. property owner should tied the dogs. secondly GPS was working properly hence a map should be provided.
What an amazing place with amazing hosts! The place really felt like a home. There is private entry, leaving you with a lot of privacy. The room and the attached bathroom are spacious and clean. There is also a table with chairs inside so you can also do some work there. The location is great! Just between the 2 main roads of Weligama so it’s quiet and not even a minute walk to the beach. The town centre with budget-friendly local restaurants, big supermarket is about 8 mins walk. The owners are very friendly! I was asked every 2 days if I needed cleaning, even on my last day! Thank you for everything :)!
