I really liked the homestay experience! The host was really warm and friendly and helped me to figure out my itineary in Nihn Binh, recommending certain key attractions that were worthwhile to see and were not as popular with tourist. She was incredible helpful in helping me to figure out plans and to understand the local environment better. She also accomodated to my last minute request to extend an additional night in my room and to help cook a breakfast despite me coming down slightly late for breakfast.

Staying at Mai Place Homestay was lovely! The room was perfect, clean, with a mini fridge, two comfortable double beds, good AC, good Wi-Fi, good bathroom. Location is so good, two minutes away from a main street. So you have many services and things to do but at the same time ypu have privacy. And Anh is the best host in Vietnam! 10/10 experience

We had a really pleasant stay at Mai Place HomeStay. The girl who runs the place is incredibly kind and helpful, and she is always happy to assist with anything you need, whether it’s booking a bus, renting a bicycle or arranging a motorbike.

The room was clean and comfortable, with a very comfortable mattress and pillows. The bathroom is spacious, and there is also a fridge in the room, which is very convenient for keeping drinks or anything else cold.

Breakfast is à la carte, with several options to choose from, and everything we tried was very good. We had the pancakes and the omelette with eggs and tomato, and we highly recommend both.

Another big plus for me was the coffee. It’s not instant coffee — they actually prepare it themselves, which makes a big difference, especially for someone who considers good coffee an important part of breakfast.

Chambre simple mais propre, climatisation et ventilo. Très tranquille.

The hosts were super friendly and accommodating - They helped us with a lot of our daily plans, providing recommendations, travel options, and practical advice. There was a genuine interest in what our plans were and great communication. Bicycles were available for daily rental, which was great because we could explore the surrounding areas with ease. Breakfast was great, fresh, and there were several options to choose from. The room and bathroom were clean and simple, the aircon worked well, and there was also a fan (we stayed in a twin room). The location is great, surrounded by plenty of cafes and places to eat, and just a short walk from the main town and lake. The hosts can also arrange your transport to several areas, including Hanoi, by bus.

Amazing facilities and location. They offered services such as washing clothes, as well as bicycle renting that we tried which was very fun and amazing scenery just a couple minutes out from the home. The staff were so kind, very welcoming and helpful to any questions, helped book a bus to Hanoi as well as had no issues when we asked to book an extra night. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety to choose from. Would absolutely recommend it!

Fijn verblijf! Af en toe last van de geluiden op straat gehad maar je zit wel midden in het centrum op loopafstand van alles. Je kan er scooters en fietsen huren en het personeel is super aardig en staat altijd voor je klaar. Lekkerste ontbijt van de hele reis! En vers bereid :) (ik ben nog steeds benieuwd hoe de scrambled eggs met tomaat ZO lekker smeuïg was ;))

I loved everything. Mai Place is close to everything in Tam Coc. Anh the hostess was fantastic. She explained all the activities in the area on arrival and gave advice on what the best times were to do activities. Anh also helped us with all our travel arrangements from Hanoi to Tam Coc and back without any hassles. It was a seamless process. We felt very relaxed not having to worry about that. The room was very very comfortable with nice soft beds, and a lovely bathroom. Breakfast was divine.

I give this place 10/10 for their excellent service, great room,good breakfast and going the extra mile to make the holiday comfortable,stress free and relaxing.

Das Doppelzimmer mit Balkon war sehr schön und sauber. Der Host war sehr zuvorkommend und hat uns bei allen Anliegen geholfen und uns verschiedene Sehenswürdigkeiten vorgestellt. Roller und Fahrräder konnten wir uns direkt vor Ort leihen. Frühstück gab es a la carte. Das Homestay lag ruhig in einer Seitenstraße.
