Great staff, gorgeous decor, welcoming, great food.
Our night was interrupted on approximately 8 occasions by an alarm which went off in the room. This was very disconcerting especially as there are no staff on site. We tried calling an emergency number but no one picked up. This strikes me as an unacceptable and potentially dangerous situation. I wanted to bring this to your attention as it spoiled our stay especially after a great evening and a delicious meal in the restaurant.
Such a beautiful place. The staff are absolutely amazing. Very helpful, welcoming, nothing is too much for them. The food is delicious and very well presented. The deco of the restaurant area is just beautiful. The room was so lovely decorated. The bed and pillow are very comfortable. The bathroom very stylish. I will definitely recommend it.
Probably could do with an extra shelf in the bathroom. Also, no daily room cleaning available.
Great restored pub in quiet village location easily reached from main roads. Staff were really welcoming and helpful. Well stocked bar and great breakfast. Room was lovely, modern bathroom and very large and very comfortable bed. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room.
It is an old building so steep but short stairs with low head height up to the bedroom, which was full-height and very spacious. It was not a problem for us.

The room was incredibly cramped. The way the toilet was situated in relation to the bathroom sink meant that you had to weave under the sink in order to sit down.
The bed was at a slant in 4, just couldn’t sleep in it

Couldn’t use facilities in the room as dirty
Lady in the morning was lovely but couldn’t serve us until after 09.00 due to the systems plus she had jobs to do first and she hadn’t turned on the coffee machine yet.
The coffee machine was short lived as was being replaced that day so going to be out of action for at least two hours so couldn’t get further drinks and no alternative put in place
Breakfast was a cold stale pastry
No one told us the building was unmanned at night and a strict lights off and no service after 11.00
Sat in a freezing room with a lamp to finish our drinks.
Tv Ariel had been disconnected so couldn’t use the tv
Nothing to sit on in the room to put shoes on.

Leg touched the sink in the bathroom when using the toilet
Service the evening before in the restaurant was poor, turkey meal was partially inedible which the food was fantastic when we visited before which is why we booked. Staff seemed uninterested on this visit, didn’t ask if we wanted more drinks or if everything was ok. Someone needs to teach staff how to make liquor coffees.
Struggled to get a drink at 22.15 barman huffed and said I suppose ??!
Manager didn’t look up in the morning from his task just said leave the key on the side.

Fabulous pub. Rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. Food was fresh and well cooked. Can’t fault it.

Lovely cosy overnight stay. Large, clean room and very comfortable bed. Nice shower and very pretty view. Friendly staff, open fires in the bar area and nice to have a drink in the bar before bed. Delicious coffee and crossiant in the morning. Would love to return.
We were woken a little earlier than we would've liked by music downstairs. Fresh milk in the room would have been appreciated.
