A Hidden Gem in Hikkaduwa
Pros:

The location is unbeatable. Just a minute walk walk to the Hikkaduwa beach, bus station and train station. It made exploring the area so easy and stress free.
Hotel is very clean. Huge comfortable beds. The views from the hotel are stunning you cab enjoy the a serene river teeming with wildlife right from the building. The hotel has a sea view too. We will come back.

Great room, great team that work there!
Pros:

The staff were extremely friendly, the room was huge and clean and the location was 5 minutes from the beach. There are restaurants 2 minutes away. I didn’t use the pool but it’s exactly as shown in the pictures.

Cons:

My room overlooked the train tracks and the trains are extremely loud, starting from 3.45am.

Thankfully it was only for 1 night.
Pros:

Good location away from the chaos of the city centre but 5 minute walk away from it. Delicious breakfast and friendly staff.

Cons:

No bin anywhere, even no bin in the bathroom. Kettle and tea in room provided but no water.
Glasses and cutlery in room provided were very dirty. Hair in the bathroom shower sink. Pillow case dirty. Main door wouldn’t open so I had to go through the sliding doors/windows that connect to the balcony. Unfortunately I couldn’t lock it as the lock was FAKE and only there for decorative purposes. I did not feel safe here as I couldn’t lock myself in at night or lock my belongings in if I went out.
Right next to train track so trains go past VERY LOUD at night.
