А також у душовій кабіні не сходила вода, тому прийшлось після купання витирати підлогу , бо вода витікала із кабіни у загальну частину ванної кімнати. Але й швабри не було 🥴

I think the hidden cutlery drawer needs to be labelled and maybe have some written instructions for how to get on the WiFi in the apartment.

Guest bed was not set-up upon arrival despite this being requested ahead of time. A lot of back and forth was required with the housekeeper to get adequately sized sheets and appropriate bedding. Floors were not clean upon arrival and vacuum did not work. No effort was made to remedy this. Apartment was on street level - we could hear people on the street and no key was provided for deadlock (didn't feel as safe as I would have liked). Noise from children running in the above apartment was also quite loud.

When we reached, I found the water kettle, a coffee cup broken in the kitchen closet which was fixed the next day. But we had a choked wash basin the bathroom due to which the water was slowly draining which was not properly fix & the shower room door rubber was too old due to which the water use to come out when ever someone had a shower.

I contacted the owner and expressed my concerns with this apartment and that it wasn't as advertised. I requested a refund. I was told I was emotional and he made a joke of booking.com's Genuis membership program.

I would not have posted this review and written this off as a one off poor experience if the owner had been reasonable and provided a refund or proportionate refund. I didn't stay at the apartment and left after 1.5 hours due to its condition. This hasn't happened before.

After multiple calls and complaints to booking.com I was offered about an 18% refund for my total booking (note the owner has to agree if you have a problem). My booking was for one week!

Alternate apartments: try Lux 11 and Numa Apartments in Mitte - I had a fantastic time at both properties and they exceeded my expectations.

In my opinion this apartment is best suited to young groups of travellers versus a 'Premuim Apartment' for solo travellers or couples.

In my opinion and experience, this apartment is more akin to an old office that has been converted where a kitchen and bathroom has been added. It isn't in the old Berlin apartment and courtyard as per the photos - it is on the front and side of this building on the street - it doesn't have any charm.

There are no internal windows - there is one window in the bathroom but opens to the internal courtyard. If open, anyone can access the apartment. I felt it is a security, safety and privacy concern (you can open it slightly if you prefer only airflow)

The front has large office style floor to ceiling glass - people can see in through the paper blinds if open and at night with the lights on and blinds up - buyer beware. I found the apartment was dark.

The furniture and walls were stained and old. The linens were threadbare. I found hairs on the bed and sofa.

Above the kitchen area was full of dust and hadn't been cleaned in some time.

The apartment above was very noisy with a young family.

The matress on the bedroom was too hard to sleep on . The sofa was more convenient.
Poor quality of linen.
Old and not comfortable pillows.
Dark room. impossible to open windows. It's facing the bicycle parking and the garbage containers, so practically there is no view and the curtains were closed.
The rain shower had no pressure.

Pretty much no natural light, the apartment is on the ground floor with large curtains on the windows. People passing by on the street peaking directly into your bedroom and living room. Narrow, not very comfortable bed, worn out pillows and bedding, and altogether 2 (!!) mid-sized towels for 2 adults in the whole apartment (no hand towels, face towels, hair towels, just 1 towel per person and not even one additional one for the sink). The shower leaks onto the whole bathroom covering it in a huge pool of water that does not dry because there is no natural light/air in the apartment.
