Great location really comfortable bed and room everything super clean
Felt like a hard sell on all the products and amenities in the room et cetera which is a bit of a turn off when you’ve spent money on the room already. Quite a small room but still comfortable.
What a wonderful find. This is such a gem of a hotel. 10/10 from every aspect.
The only complaint I have is the bathroom lighting. A bit too dark even on the brightest setting - so might be an inconvenience for those who need to put on makeup :)
L’arredo era carino.
I letti erano adatti a delle persone basse, troppo corti per gli altri. Infissi vecchi facevano entrare i rumori dalla strada e la musica dagli altri piani
We really enjoyed our stay at The Moore! The hotel is beautiful and in a great area. The service from Tony and Lorenna was fantastic. I would highly recommend this hotel.
The staff is super friendly and helpful. Simon and Lorenna at the front desk were very kind and helped us throughout our entire stay. The location of the hotel was the best, super walkable, the MTA was around the corner. The rooms were super clean! & the bonus that we really loved was the cafe in the lobby, it was so nice to wake up and grab a coffee and start our day in the city. Will definitely be back!
lovely atmosphere, perfect for a last minute trip! the staff was extremely welcoming and helpful, princesa made our experience and made us feel at home.
Great location and value. Rooms are small but efficient, like a ship. Bed and linens are very comfortable. And love the chip system for getting coffee and pastries in the morning, drinks in the evening.
Earplugs and eye masks not because the city is loud so much as poor sound deadening and staff vacuuming at 10pm. One elevator for staff and guests. Tokens for snacks a weird unnecessary reminder of the nightly rates.
LISTEN UP FOLKS - The Moore is where you want to stay. Any season, any time, Let me tell you why. NYC during December is a little bit of mayhem. It’s cold, there’s lots of crowds, the darkness - it’s a lot. But when you have people like Simon, Tony, and Luis manning the desk - you hardly remember you’re traveling in the busiest city in the world - but you feel cozy and cared for and ready to sit and have a latte or a glass of red in the lobby at any hour. I had visited for work and forgotten to book one additional night and during my stay they kept a watch on reservations and so luckily was able to help me out and even had my bags returned to my original room when i had finished my work event. It is a gorgeous hotel with TOP tier service, and i will happily return soon.
Great location, clean/stylish hotel.
NO accessible accommodations. They considered a room with a bathtub accessible. I have a prosthetic leg that I remove to shower so could not have a bathtub. They then moved me to a room with a shower, but it still required a step into the bathroom, and a step into the shower, with nothing to hold on to. (BTW, there's no way a person in a wheelchair could have used either room, either) When i challenged them the clerk offered to cancel my reservation so i could find a hotel with an accessible room. Not nice at all. Shameful and shocking - a first in my travels to NYC.
Such a wonderful stay at The Moore! The staff were so friendly and willing to help with any request, big or small. Tony specifically was fantastic! He was kind enough to help me carry some heavy boxes, which was a huge help.
From check in to check out our experience here was fantastic. All of the staff were happy and attentive which I think is rare these days. Service was great. They have coffee and alcohol available in the lobby. The rooms are very small however the hotel and rooms are nicely kept. We come to NYC often and will definitely return and stay here! Location is great as well.
As someone who travels weekly for business for 25+ years, this hotel is likely the worst experience I have ever had:
1. TINY rooms: If you want a piece of furniture besides a bed, you are out of luck. No chair, bench, desk, etc. Nor is there one piece of art or decoration. And the window is a sliver of a window (and this was allegedly one of their 'larger' rooms).
2. No F&B: The bar was closed and there is a desk in the lobby that has minimal pre-made breakfast items available for purchase.
3. Does not recognize Marriott status or provide points: Unless you book through a Marriott channel, they will not offer benefits or points.
4. Rude staff: At check-in, the manager was not even on property so they had to call her. She was put out by even being called. She apparently has not even taken a basic Hospitality 101 class.
Greta hotel right in Chelsea - the hotel is on a beautiful street close to the Highline and Meatpacking district. The lobby has a modern vibe to it and there is a small bar where you can get coffee, wine etc as well as some light fare. There is also a rooftop area that was open but the rooftop bar was closed for the season. We were able to sit on the roof in the afternoon and read and also went to the rooftop late night and had a bottle of wine. The rooms are very clean and modern, but quite small. Very typical for NYC, but this room seemed especially tight. They did a great job of utilizing all of the spaces and we were comfortable, but it was a bit tight. Despite being in the heart of Chelsea, it was quiet at night (never really quiet in NYC though) even though our room faced the street.
The Good - great, quiet location, well appointed rooms, comfortable if you can make it to the bed without hitting the furniture or the platform for the mattress.
The Bad - TINY room with a itty bitty bathroom at the end of the bed. DO NOT STAY HERE if you are a couple! Just trust me on this! Very little privacy to do anything other than have sex and go to sleep. Hallways are barely passable for 2 people, they're dark and overall the place feels like a hostel without the community bathroom (though a public bathroom in the lobby would be a nice touch). I just stayed here for 4 nights with my girlfriend, and we had stuff strewn out everywhere because there was not enough space in the room. It was a total mess but we got through it.
