Hidden gem, great for business and fun
Pros:

I've been going to New York City for almost 30 years, and I am a Starwood/Bonvoy Titanium level member. I usually stay at the usual brand name spots, but then chose to explore and go to The Moore for this trip. This was first a great setup with the Chelsea location right off of 23rd Street Subway and also with the local restaurants, coffee shops, and other establishments. All the staff were great and accommodating, the tokens for amenities were a great idea and the other amenities were very welcomed. And the rooms, though a little small but again it is New York City, we're well done. It's certainly on my list for whenever I come back up to New York for both work and pleasure.

Great boutique hotel in a quiet neighborhood location.
Pros:

I've stayed three times at The Moore, and am a frequent solo traveler. It's in a quiet neighborhood, and the rooms are simple, clean, and elegant. What makes me return time and again are the staff--I don't know all of their names, but Tony and Simon have helped me the most. They are incredibly attentive, and manage a busy front desk with calmness and affability. They offer pastry and espresso drinks, and have a lovely lounge area if you are meeting friends. The front desk staff always greet everyone, and make an effort to get to know each guest. It's generally quiet, with an elevated yet friendly atmosphere. I will definitely be back!

Great hidden business gem on the westside near multiple transit options.
Pros:

This little GEM on the Westside is hidden on a corner of 8th Ave and 22nd is an exceptional value in a great location mideway between the Holland and Lincoln tunnel for those flying into Newark or using Penn Station. We often walk over to Flatiron District or down to the Chelsea market for dinner, but plenty of places nearby if you aren't into walking.

Hotels in NYC are small so if you are there as a couple use the larger room - I think it's called studio queen. But if you're just there for business, the smallest rooms are adequate.

For me the staff make the hotel. Wanna call out Tony, who made our first impression so positive and was so helpful! The hotel has a breakfast espresso bar, with pastries for purchase that will save you from leaving the building until your meeting. Part of the Marriott chain if you're collecting points! Great rates if you plan ahead.

Lovely staff, fab location, cosy room
Pros:

The hotel staff were really welcoming and accommodating. The room itself was small, but this wasn't too much of a surprise since this is a recurring theme across most reviews I saw prior to booking the hotel, but we still decided to stay here and I'm glad we did. The staff were very gracious about me ordering lots of packages to our hotel room and whenever the room got cleaned, the cleaning staff left cute baked goods and fresh eye masks on our bed each day. Also we had to leave a day early because of the snow storm and without being prompted, the hotel refunded us for a day, which was a very nice surprise. Will definitely be staying here again next time I'm in New York. Thanks very much!

Cons:

The rooms are a bit small and it'd be nice to have somewhere to get hot food in the hotel, but given the location, hot food is only walking distance away, when it's summertime (less great in the middle of the New York winter - but there's not really anything you can do about that).

Great boutique hotel
Pros:

This is a small hotel off 22nd. So it is more quiet. The staff is very friendly. You play this game with the $40 token. I had read someone’s review that they ran out of pastries but it seemed like they had stuff 24/7. We left early one day and I saw the pastries being delivered fresh from a bakery at 5 am- which they get every day. We would definitely stay here again.

Terrific boutique hotel!
Pros:

Very well-appointed and modern hotel. The staff is very friendly and professional, particularly Robert, who manages the front desk! The day I checked in, the elevator was under repair, and the staff offered to transport my luggage upstairs and offered complimentary snacks and drinks! My room was a bit small, but it was very nice and comfortable. I will definitely stay here on future visits!

The Moore is such a nice, quiet, clean hotel. The location is perfect for exploring NYC or just for walking in the neighborhood or along the Hudson River. Plenty of restaurants, cafes, galleries, etc. The staff at The Moore is always friendly, helpful and very welcoming. I have stayed here twice and look forward to my future stays.

Well appointed boutique hotel with excellent service
Pros:

I loved ny stay at The Moore! The queen bedroom with a view on the top floor was lovely and well appointed with sweet details that made me feel special from eye masks to wonderful shower products and amazing sheets! I had a view of the Empire State Building which was additionally special to me. The bed was very comfortable. The service was delightful from the moment I walked in the hotel, and Lorenna at reception was kind and professional! I hope to return soon.

Cozy and Relatively Quiet!
Pros:

It's a cozy and accommodating hotel in Manhattan. It's conveniently located: close to Penn Station and many wonderful restaurants. It has modern style, with a retro 60s theme in the cafe area.

No better stay in NYC
Pros:

My wife and I have been staying at The Moore a couple of times a year for the past few years. We first stayed there because of their excellent location in Chelsea and easy walking or subway access to most of our favorite restaurants, museums, bars and other activities. But what keeps us coming back is the staff. Trip after trip, both new faces and old, welcome us back and make our stay so enjoyable. The onsite amenities including 24 hour barista service are exceptional. But at the end of the day (sometimes a very long day), it is The Moore Staff that make it our go to choice now whenever we visit NYC.
