It's not worth the money you pay.
The minimum one would expect is that at least the manager speaks English, however, nobody speaks English.
The rooms are large, but since the windows have no glass, only wooden shutters, they are very dark. There is no space to store clothes, and the hangers are so high that it’s impossible to hang clothes properly.
On Booking it states that the guest house has a restaurant, a bar, and daily cleaning. However, none of this is actually available. In fact, unless we ask for the room to be cleaned and the towels changed, they do not do it.
When we asked why there was no daily room cleaning, the surprising response was: “Do you want the room cleaned?” Since we stayed for 7 nights, I believe this shouldn’t even have been a question.
We asked three times for a hand towel and never received one. Each person only had one bath towel to use for the face, body, and hands. If we had not asked for the towels to be changed and the room to be cleaned, we would have stayed 7 nights with no cleaning and no clean towels, and the ones we had even had holes in them.
When we arrived, we had to pay for the nights in advance and in cash, and we were not even given a receipt. I had to ask for a piece of paper as proof of payment.
We only got the internet in the room after 3 days and after insisting many times.
The breakfasts are very poor.
They offer two types of breakfast: Sri Lankan and English.
The Sri Lankan breakfast is good but too small for two people.
The English breakfast consists of an omelette, one small slice of tomato, one small slice of cucumber, one slice of ham, and two small canned mushrooms.
On the second day we asked for the Sri Lankan breakfast for the rest of our stay, since on the first day we had ordered one of each and did not like the English breakfast. However, on the third day they served us the English breakfast again. We reminded them that we had requested the Sri Lankan breakfast for the rest of the stay.

NOBODY speaks English or ANY other language, which is pretty frustrating. Thank God for Google translate....

And, one more thing. We arrived on Sunday afternoon and were asked to pay in advance. We wanted to pay by card, so we asked to pay on Monday morning because our card charges 1% more on the weekends. They wouldn't accept this. We got this response from the owner in a text "And if you pay with the card 5-% will add to the total but if your not happy to pay with the card plz pay cash or please cancel the reservation". If I wasn't tired, I would have looked for something else right there and then. This horrible absolute answer with no room for discussion made me mad. This isn't hospitality. This is blackmail. Plus that they wanted to charge us 5% for the bank instead of the usual 3%.

Breakfast was very disorganised

Rooms were clean at the beginning but not cleaned properly again though stay

The pool was great but sun beds all broken and not comfortable to sit

Location was great apart from Friday nights were exceptionally loud music thumped until gone 3 in the morning

No hanging space in the rooms for any item longer than a T shirt. No drying space for wet towels and swimwear.

Would have preferred a more personalized service.

It was on the noisy side at night time but did thankfully stop at 1am. Would have been good to have a hand towel as well as a shower towel for when you want to wash your hair too.

Doucheafvoervwas niet goed. Waterafvoer stagneerde. Nadat we het hadden aangekasrt werd het niet beter.

1. Нет в номере сейфа. Белье и полотенца не идеально чистые, где-то даже есть надорванная ткань.
2. У нас украли шлепки у двери ночью и у соседей тоже украли шлепки и плавки .У отеля весят камеры, но они на столько не правильно распределены, что воры просто отвернули камеру перед тем как украсть в сторону,Разговор о возмещении убытка отель даже не предложил, вообще бездействовали. Так же мы пока не сказали камеру повернуть снова на номера, так и висела камера после воровства смотрящая в стену. Это немного омрачило наш отдых и безопасность в данном отеле.
