I only like the dinner.

Cons:

The breakfast portion was too small. Although there were many items but were small and light. As it was served in room, we had to call the room service to refill. For example, they did not give us a pot of coffee. Staff cannot speak English and they chose to avoid interacting with us. At that price, we could find luxurious onsen hotel. There was no open air bath tub in the room. Bookings.com put in the details the the twin rooms feature roof top pool that is misleading. The hotel features roof top pool but it was closed during our stay due to cold weather. There is no gym in the hotel. In winter time, there is nothing to do in the hotel

Overall, it was an awesome stay. Can't wait to go back!
Pros:

With the hotel being newly opened, the facilities were spotless. I enjoyed relaxing in the outdoor pool and jacuzzi, admiring the sunset behind the Hira mountains.
Dinner was a meat lover's dream, with every course bursting with flavor and perfectly paired wines.
The next morning, we indulged in a breakfast made from fresh Omi vegetables, delivered via room service so we could savor it while taking in the scenic view of Lake Biwa.
And the staff were all incredibly friendly.

Cons:

My only suggestion would be to extend the pool hours, as they start at 7:00 AM, which felt a tad late for me.
