Chillige Atmosphäre, super nettes Personal, feines Essen. Fahrräder zum Erkunden der Insel können auch gleich dort gemietet werden.

Schade, dass man zum Strand durchs Dorf muss.
Ich hatte die Hütte mit Privatbad, für eine Person alleine recht teuer.

A great friendly and peaceful place to stay on a beautiful island
Pros:

Staying at Delft Village Stay was definitely a great experience. Our host was of great help, we were able to rent bicycles and see the baobab and a beautiful sunset. The dinner was especially delicious.

Chill Out at Cozy Place

Hospitable staff. Remote location. 5 minute walk to Beach. Tommy, the host organises activities to keep the guests entertained. Good meals.

Amazing place and amazing host
Pros:

This is probably the best place to stay in all of Sri Lanka. We initially booked two nights, but we extended our stay by another two; if we could, we would have stayed even longer. Tommy is an amazing host who has created a special place that truly brings the right people together.

The island is small and has some attractions, but it was this accommodation that made our visit truly special. We loved everything - from our tent to the food, activities, and the place itself. I only wish I could stay in places like this on all my travels.

A no-frills, memorable and beautiful experience.
Pros:

Delft Village was a highlight of my 2 month trip to Sri Lanka because of the people. It's like walking into a friends living room upon arrival and Tommy, the owner, his staff and the guests are so welcoming. Tommy cares about every single person that comes to his property, he cares about the environment, the people and the future of his island. He provides authentic experiences by immersing you in the culture of the island and with the people who live there and call it home. Side note: While there, I got sick (not from Delft Village!) for a couple of days and was honestly grateful I was there because it felt like a little community looking out for each other. I truly wish Tommy the best for his vision with Delft Village.
