Location was perfect, and I loved the seamless check-in/checkout. The cabin heated up instantly and everything worked great.
It was in Big Bear Village so my truck stayed parked all weekend.
I’ve stayed there before and loved it but this time the cabin we stayed in had a bathroom door that wouldn’t stay closed so we kept pushing on it to walk by. The shower also leaked so I had to put a towel under the drip to keep it quiet while we sleep. Now you have to bring your own blankets and pillows.
Location and fireplace.
Have to bring your own sheets, towels, pillows, blanket. What if we were road traveling and didn't have any?
Towel rack broken in bathroom.
How close it was to downtown
The shower looked like a prison definitely needs updating and on the picture. It said it had a hot tub. There was no hot tub. Big bath tub
Cabin needed some repairs. 1-needs a screen on the window 2-bathroom inside door handle falling off 3-needs a trash can by the sink.
Location is great. Heater is good. Mattress is newer. TV works.
No closet or place to hang clothes. A metal rack of hooks placed atop the bathroom door are provided, but they are flimsy and fall off the door top. There are three wooden peg hooks in a 5 inch area next to the front door, it is impossible to hang things there because when one opens the front door, they plummet to the ground. No linens: no pillows, no sheets, no blankets, no towels, hand towels, washcloths, no soap or shampoo. Only one trash can that is too small, 12"X6". Light was burnt out in kitchen area when we arrived, got a bulb the next morning from a woman cleaning another unit. We installed it ourselves. There are pipes on the outside of the bathroom walls supplying the toilet and the sink with water that are painted white with obvious soldering repairs. There's a small pedestal sink, with no counter space for toiletries. With only a small hot water heater, two showers in a row is impossible. Dirty baseboards have hair stuck to them. Dirty walls. Smoky smell. Curtain rod falling off the wall above dirty window. Light switches in unusual places, for example the living area overhead light/fan switch is on a the far wall which is opposite the entry door, (No way to turn on the light at the front door) and the bathroom light switch is outside the bathroom behind the bathroom door which swings outward. Dirty mattress pad cover - looks like cigarette ash. Loose old paneling covering empty space under kitchen counter hides dirty area and water heater. No kitchen sink, but did have a new cork screw (ha, ha...only utensil). No coffee or filters for drip coffee maker. (Should have pod brewer.) Old, run down, dirty, subpar in nearly every way. A slum lord owner kind of place.
