깨끗하고 조용하고 넓고 좋았어요!!

We recently spent 4 nights here. The property is beautiful - set back off the road amidst palms and banana trees with a serene courtyard. While this is a homestay and part of the family compound, it is set up so it is separate, and it felt very private. It is a wonderful respite from the busy streets of Ubud. Our room had a big porch looking out over the trees. The room itself was very clean and comfortable with beautiful carved doors and carved wooden furniture. The description says it is a full bed but it is actually a king size bed. Meri was great to communicate with before the booking. We took him up on his Unesco tour. That was a highlight of our trip. He took us on a little tour of his family compound and then to several cultural sites. We learned so much about Bali just from our car ride with him. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about sharing Bali's culture. We had breakfast at the room every day. We had fresh juice, fruit, toast, eggs, fried noodles, fried rice, and banana/pineapple pancakes. Everything was delicious, and it was so nice to eat out on the porch amidst all the plants. The location is also very central and close to many great restaurants and coffee shops. We also booked our return trip to the airport through the homestay. This was seamless, and they ensured that we arrived within plenty of time for our flight. I would highly recommend for anyone traveling to Ubud!

Stanza ampia, pulita, con tutti i comfort (antizanzare e phon compresi), frigo, cucina, distributore acqua. Anche il bagno è molto bello e accessoriato. Immersa nella vegetazione, molto tranquilla. Posizione comodissima, vicina al centro.
I proprietari sono gentilissimi, accoglienti e super disponibili. Ci hanno aiutato quando siamo stati difficoltà con i cambiavalute locali.

Das Personal war super freundlich und zuvorkommend.
Insbesondere der Vater des Besitzers war ein Traum! Wir hatten tolle Gespräche, eine Tagestour durch Bali und viele hilfreiche Tipps bekommen.

Das Frühstück war super lecker und alles verlief problemlos.

This is my second time staying at Widya Luxury House and it was just as wonderful as the first time. It is incredibly central, yet quiet as it is away from the street and backs onto lots of greenery. It is very clean, comfortable, and spacious. Meri and Putu are lovely and they go above and beyond to ensure your stay is exceptional. Thank you for having me again at your beautiful accommodation. I look forward to the next visit and stay :)

I had a wonderful stay and couldn’t be happier with my experience. The place had an amazing atmosphere, making it easy to relax and enjoy every moment. A special thank you to Widya and Marib, who were incredibly helpful, supportive, and genuinely kind throughout my stay. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was comfortable and enjoyable.

What stood out the most was how safe, welcomed, and comfortable I felt from the moment I arrived. Their hospitality and positive energy truly made a difference. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great experience with wonderful people.

Beautiful and convenient

Beautiful, well maintained quiet place. Patio right in the jungle. Exceptionally welcoming and helpful service. I had the opportunity to meet several members of the family. Putu went out of her way to make my stay comfortable.

This homestay was everything that we could have asked for and more for the two nights we stayed. From the convenience of Meri picking us up early in the morning from the airport AND dropping us off at our next hotel afterwards (including two stops at great sites while in transit!), to the delicious breakfasts every morning (believe all the other reviews about the banana pancakes), and the warmth and hospitality from the whole family is reflected in every interaction we had as well as the the beautiful home itself.

The room was extremely clean, the bed and pillows comfortable, and a good amount of space to rummage through luggage. The water pressure in the bathroom was great and they also provided a water dispenser as a tap alternative. The location of the Widya House was also great - walkable to all the main attractions in Ubud center and some great warungs a few steps up and down the street, but not close enough to busy streets to have constant traffic noise.

I loved the location — tucked away from the busy center while still being within walking distance of great coffee shops and restaurants. The bed was firm yet very comfortable, making for a good night’s sleep.
