Close to the action in the middle of Mazunte. Comfortable bed and bedding. Grounds swept daily. Enclosed glass, so no mosquitos. Nice room cleaning folks who helped with luggage and arranged taxi.
Buncha steps to get there. No full time reception staff. Pool wasn't heated, so swimmable only during sunny part of the day. (2 hours due to shade) No microwave. Barking dogs nearby, typical of rural Mexico. Bring earplugs.
Amazing property close to everything yet far enough away to have quiet space too. The rooms are spacious and clean and small kitchen area very handy.
Needs better signage from the street to find.
Design, modern and big room, nice stay
The design of the hotel is very nice, the location is quite central for Mazunte restaurants etc
The room service/ cleaning was strange: some days the bin in the toilet wasn't emptied, and none of the towels were changed, but the bed was made up. Other days, the bed wasn't made, but the bin was emptied. The shower had very little warm water, and kept flooding the floor. There is a lot of noise at night coming from the party venues/bars across the road. We had booked two rooms; the second room's toilet door was almost impossible to close or open, and it wasn;t fixed during our stay.

Really enjoyed our stay at YAM hotel, the location is ideal right in the heart of Mazunte. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was beautiful!
The trees surrounding the pool could be trimmed back a bit to let some more light in, the pool was in the shade for most of the day.
Location, fridge, freezer and Coffee machine
Really great location. Well appointed kitchen. Lovely staff who cleaned and made bed every day. Nice little plunge pool to cool down in evening. Nice communal outdoor area. Quiet. Big comfortable beds.
Minor thing but the light in our pool was broken. It's a bit odd to have the main communal pool right outside one of the private villas but it was fine, we used it when neighbours were out.
Some more hooks to hang towels would have been useful.
Mooi, schoon en rustig verblijf!! Erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Het uitzicht vanaf het terras is erg mooi. Zeker aan te raden voor een fijne tijd in Mazunte.
Great location and cool design, nice pool.
It was pretty unclean and the lack of proper sealing of all the windows and doors meant you essentially slept outside, so expect cockroaches and scorpions in your room. This felt like an avoidable problem. Communication was also really slow and all over WhatsApp given the reception was unmanned for our entire stay. I wouldn’t stay here again.
The location, the value for money, the swimming pool, the room and the staff. All were amazing.
The soap and shampoo smelled bad🥴
It is such a beautiful place, very spacious, well designed- it is everything & more. Such a great value for money. The staff was very helpful and friendly but very discreet at the same time. The location is also amazing - close to everything you might need.
I know some people complained about the water pressure but there is 1 super efficient trick you can use- when you turn on the shower, you must also turn on the sink faucet- just a few seconds is enough, and the pressure will normalize.
