Excellent
Pros:

I had a wonderful stay at VIP Hotel Tashkent. The hotel is very comfortable, clean, and well-organized. The rooms are spacious and equipped with everything needed for a pleasant stay.
The staff are extremely friendly, professional, and always ready to help. The location is also very convenient for getting around the city.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Tashkent. It is definitely one of the best and most comfortable hotels to stay in. I will gladly stay here again on my next trip.

Проблем много но напишу о главном! В номере не поставили питьевую (0,5 л) воду, оказывается за оплату 26$ не положено 😁

1) Питьевая (0,5л) вода, точнее его отсутствие 😁
2) Туалетная бумага, точнее почти не оставшаяся в рулоне 😳
3) Холод в комнате (хотел включить кондёр но не смог найти пульт от него 😆)
4) Посторонние шума
5) Завтрак, точнее его отсутствие за 26$ 🤣
6) Размер комнаты (очень тесно 😔)

basic but good accommodation very close to the airport
Pros:

We stayed here twice, on the first and the last night of our Uzbekistan trip. The hotel is very close to the airport, and it's easy to access it by taxi without dealing with the traffic madness in the center of Tashkent. I highly recommend using the "Yandex" app which got us taxi rides to/from the hotel that were 5 times cheaper (!!!) than the standard price the airport desk asked for. The rooms are basic but generally clean and have everything you need for a short stay. On our first night here, we had a deluxe double room on the ground floor which was quiet and decently sized. I would recommend this option. The more basic room option on the first floor is not as comfortable.

Cons:

My main complaint about this hotel is that, during the second time we stayed here, they downgraded us from the "deluxe double room" I had booked to a simple double room. This room was on the top floor, facing the street. It was noisier than the other room which faces an inner courtyard, and worse than this, had window blinds that did not block the light from the street lamp directly in front of the windows so it was very bright at night - both not very conducive to good sleep. Generally, I don't like not being guaranteed the room option that I originally reserved (what's the point of making a reservation then?). The location of the hostel also seems quite isolated at night, I wasn't super sure how safe the region was upon arrival (but we did not have any problems in the end). There are not a ton of food options nearby but I would recommend the TomYum bar within a short walking distance as a good option for dinner.
