Super ruhige Lage, sehr aufmerksamer Chef, der immer alles für einen getan hat !!! Fahrräder, die nur bedingt verkehrstauglich sind, gab es kostenlos zum leihen !
Der Pool war nicht gerade einladend. Es gab kein Frühstücksbueffet - es gab ein sehr einfaches Frühstück ! Das Badezimmer sah sehr abgewohnt aus !
We chose this hotel because of the location slightly out of town (quieter) and most importantly - for the great views of the rice paddies and mountains and it didn't disappoint. After a busy day it was nice to return here and stare out at that relaxing view while the kids spent much of the time in the pool cooling off! We had friends staying at another hotel in town and they spent most of their downtime out with us cause it was so nice here!
Although it's easy to walk into town, we borrowed bikes everyday to go because it was more fun for our kids that way. My son was too small for the adult sized bikes so they got kid sized ones for him. Just a 2 minute bike ride away is the river winding through the mountains and you can watch the boats go by and continue on easy bike paths from there.
I LOVED that we got cool welcome and welcome back drinks everytime we came back to the hotel! It's a little thing but hugely appreciated especially when it was so hot out. And when we came came back from a particularly long day we soaked our feet in a tub with herbs and warm water. So relaxing! And it was included in the stay! Breakfast was very good! We ordered our breakfast the evening before and it was prepared fresh each morning just for us and they had a good variety of western and local options.
The best part by far was the service! They knew when to give us space and moved fast when we needed help. Like on our last day when we booked a private car from a place in town. The car didn't show up at the agreed upon time and after contacting that company we realized there was a bit of lost in translation that happened - we had accidently booked train tickets and not a car and the train had already left! The owner of Tom Coc Wonderland Bungalow immediately called us a private car to get us back to Hanoi so that we could make our connecting training to Sapa that evening! They were life savers! And then they sent us on our way with plenty of water and snacks!
The place is a bit dated in it's look and the shower's hot water took getting use to to getting it the right temperature but these were only minor things. If you want a more modern looking hotel he has one a few hundred meters away tucked in between the mountains behind us. But we wanted to views of the rice paddies so we chose to stay here. Totally worth it!
The staff were so attentive and had an eye for detail, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt very welcome, they recommended where to go in the area and offered to take us to some of the landmarks. We would definitely come here again

This hotel was the best we had in our 3 weeks trip in Vietnam. Everything was perfect : the beautiful room, the hotel in the middle of the rice fields, the feee bicycle to wander everywhere, and most of all : the STAFF are the best !!! Toan (I hope it spells like this) gave us a lot of recommandation on what to do around, we had a warm team everytime we came back and they even prepared us a little snack when we left ! I truly recommend everyone to stay there !!!! We would definitely go back

Nous avons apprécié le patron qui est vraiment attentionné. Il nous a réservé un SPA à Tam Coc et nous a accompagné. C'était un des meilleurs massage que j'ai eu, et nous étions comme des VIP. Il nous a donné de très bonnes adresses et le petit déjeuner est excellent !!

Sehr symphatische Mitarbeiter. Bei jeder Rückkehr, Ausflüge, wurde man mit einem leckeren Tee empfangen. Man wurde immer wahrgenommen und jeder Wunsch sofort erfüllt. Leckeres Frühstück. Die Lage ist auch schön inmitten von Reisfeldern und Kalkfelsen. Das Bad ist ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, bietet aber sehr viel Platz. Super Preis/ Leistungs Verhältnis. Jederzeit wieder!
