THe breakfast spread is great.

Cons:

We were upgraded to a suite. Unfortunately, the facilities in the suite has to be improved. There was no place for the shower gel and shampoo. As a result, both had to be placed on the floor. Also, there was no place to plug in the kettle. The socket point is inside the cabinet together with the mini bar fridge.

Overall a satisfying stay!
Pros:

Its strategic location - very near to Thamrin City, Grand Indonesia and Plaza Indonesia. The room is spacious and the bed and pillows are plushy and comfy. The staffs also are warm and friendly. Always greet us with friendly smiles :)

Cons:

Some room for improvement - On the first day of our arrival, we noticed the shower drain was clogged. Informed the front counter and they came to repair it promptly once we're back in our room. The shower head also may need to be checked as well as the handle to the other shower. Breakfast was okay - can do better. They stop to replenish food at 9.30am whereas the breakfast slot ends at 10.00am.

Pros:

The lobby was cosy. The food was not bad but it was not replenished until we asked.

Cons:

We dont feel welcomed. Nobody around to greet us unlike other hotels where concierge reception doorman everywhere got staff standing and greeting. Only reception staff is around. From day 1 to day 5 nobody at the main door. It wasn't an auto door nor open door so everyday we have to pull & push the heavy door handle. We asked for extension of 1 room out of 2 rooms for an hour but only 30mins given saying that is their policy after which there will be charges. We asked for hand towels were told not provided by hotel so we asked for just an extra bath towel to replace the former was told there will be charges. We had 2 hrs free extention for 2 rooms from previous hotel but no exception at Maia. Only 2 pillows provided for our king bed unlike other hotels 4 pillows. We dare not ask for more else the answer will be there will be charges. Bed was good but pillow was too soft to sleep on given only 1 pillow each. Toilet cleaning can be better. Collection of deposits upon checked in I think was unnecessary as most hotels do not ask. Maia dont seem like 4* at all never expect such vibes and treatment.
