Great location, cheaper than anything else in the area - not that clean. Terribly run..

This place is like Fawlty Towers!! It’s very obvious it’s not owner run. The location is good, but the staff are clueless - lose keys, forget to put towels out, don’t answer the phone.. Enjoy Friday afternoon drinks while they manning the front desk.! The list goes one!!

The room was spacious enough

Cons:

The bad smell from the floor carpet is total out, no remote for accommodation, it very stuffy, i suggests the floor must renovate to tiles , you can't enjoy and rest while it ther is a bad smell

Stay was mixed - staff were great; room was clean but no space/chair/desk to work
Pros:

Great peaceful location and hearty breakfast

Cons:

Handling of payment process - need to sort out link with Booking.com - seemed system did not show payment online and then wrong reference was cited for a "no payment" query - almost paid twice because our payment had been "declined".
There was no desk/chair in the room so one could not sit properly to work - assumed they are catering for tourists and not working people

Pros:

It was clean but the carpets smelt like cat urine.

Cons:

The staff were unprofessional and uncommunicative. The noise from the other rooms was loud and raucous. It was more of a motel than a hotel. The 'restaurant' was non-existent.

There were no electricity, we used cold water 😫😫😫😫.... They said that they will use generator as a backup but they didn't do that..... We were very disappointed shame I don't wanna lie

Pros:

I was very disappointed that the duvet had a stain (something had spilled) which was covered by the throw that was put over it. I saw it as I was removing the throw to sleep.

My annoyance is that when the staff came to see-she was checking if rhe stain is wet- meaning i would have stained it myself!

I asked her- why would I stain it and complain to her same night I has just arrived. The place itself it lovely- but I dont see myself going back- just left a very sour taste the response. Even though they changed the linen, i wish they just did without inferring i could be responsible as I was not.
