Overall the bed was very comfortable, the room was spacious as expected, linen clean and crisp.
Cons:

The inconvenience of having to boil the kettle on the floor because the cable wasn’t long enough to reach the plug. The room was tidy but needs improvement, carpets need a deep clean, furniture in the room is quite old and needs an upgrade.

Had a great stay. Have actually stayed here 3 times already (in the last 3 years). Will go back. It’s a convenient locat

The main family room we stayed in was great. Spacious (room and kitchen/living area). Microwave, fridge and tv. Bath and shower. Really comfortable bed. Simple but comfortable.

Cons:

It would have been nice if they could have added Super sport Chanel (206) they had just about every other DStv channel? The cutlery and crockery was slim pickings - and the spoons/forks were plastic. It’s simple -

Received by a cleaner, no information given to her had to wait a while. That should be a guesthouse with guest house rate. It’s definitely NOT a hotel.

Pros:

Weekend at the Midlands hotel
Pros:

The room was very cosy.very spacious. Bed was comfortable. The space was clean.

Cons:

.The water was not draining from the shower. Couldn't use it. The carpet in the room needs attention. There's no microwave in the room. Could actually use one. I don't know if you can call this a hotel.. Wifi is not easily accessible.

Very friendly and helpful staff which went the extra mile due to power outage to make stay as comfortable as possible.

Cons:

Breakfast could not be the usual fare as no electricity so limited the offering available.

The unit was well designed, spacious, comfortable, and well equipped for colder weather with sufficient warm duvets and blankets. The crisp white bedding enhanced the clean, fresh, and welcoming atmosphere, while the patio provided a relaxing space to unwind and enjoy the surroundings. The friendly, welcoming, and attentive staff further contributed to an enjoyable stay.

A power outage occurred during our stay, and the staff proactively contacted us before check-in to inform us of the situation. Given that it was Comrades Marathon weekend and alternative accommodation was extremely limited, this communication was greatly appreciated. Despite the outage, the stay remained comfortable and functional, with a generator providing lighting and basic power, allowing us to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning with minimal disruption. The staff also went above and beyond to ensure that warm water was available, making it possible to enjoy a much-needed bath after a long and demanding race. Their care, effort, and commitment to guest comfort were truly appreciated and reflected exceptional customer service.
