La vie est incroyable depuis les chambres et la piscine.
Bon emplacement.
Très bon accueil avec de bon conseils.
On nous a notamment recommandé Pathu, un super tuk tuk driver qui nous a accompagné sur nos visites aux cascades de Diyaluma et de Little Adam’s Peak. On vous le recommande aussi chaudement.

Tolle Unterkunft mit wunderschönem Blick über die Berglandschaft - besonders vom Balkon und dem Pool aus. Die Lage ist super, da die Stadt gut zu Fuß erreichbar ist und das Hotel zusätzlich ein eigenes Tuktuk besitzt. Das Personal war durchweg freundlich, hilfsbereit und sehr zuvorkommend. Auch das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Besonders praktisch war außerdem, dass das Hotel unseren Weitertransport zum Flughafen organisiert hat. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Mooie plek met mooi uitzicht. Ideale trap naar het centrum. Lekker ontbijt die je op kan eten in de tuin met zicht op de bergen. Aardig personeel.

Beautiful view, the pool is nice and the people very friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast too. The location is 10min away from the city so it's quiet.

The views were great.

Un de nos hôtels préférés, le personnel était parfait, ils nous servent le déjeuner directement sur notre terasse. La vue et la piscine étaient magnifiques. On a adoré l’hotel. Si vous voulez faire du lavage, il y a une petite buanderie à côté et le service était impeccable et pas cher.

Todo es espectacular, viajo sola, me sentí segura sin si quiera tener cerrojo. La habitación es preciosa en madera, el destino super completo, y las vistas son espectaculares con una piscina infinita que da a en medio de la selva.

I only stayed the one night but it was a comfortable room with a good breakfast and nice pool with great views!

The hotel location is stunning; high up in the mountains with great views. It's very small (only 4/5 bedrooms so feels very exclusive). It's no more than a 10 minute walk to the main street where the shops and restaurants are but some of it is unlit so take a torch or use your phone light to help.
Super quiet hotel with a small pool to relax in but not much space to get the sun/sunbath because of the surrounding trees and shadows. We took our own beach towels so unsure if they provide any.
The bedroom was spacious, very minimalist but had everything you needed. The stairs up though are steep and you can easily catch your feet on the metal. The netting on the patio is a cool idea but it's directly above someone else's balcony so not that relaxing and quite uncomfortable!
Breakfast was lovely, no menu though so can be seen as a waste if you don't like what they serve (think this is the same for most hotels in Sri Lanka though).

Idyll Cottage was just amazing. The room was so lovely and clean and the view was outstanding. Having access to the lovely infinity pool was a bonus.
The breakfast was amazing. The owners go out of their way to make it the best stay, and were so helpful with arranging our activities and travel. It was so nice to be up on the hill away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to walk down in 5-10 mins (+ easy to get a tuktuk back if you don't fancy walking up the hill). If you're planning a trip to Ella, this is the perfect spot.
