A great hotel in the heart of the Jongno district.
Pros:

A great hotel in the heart of the Jongno district. Definitely the biggest plus for your work at the front desk. Recognition for your excellent Customer Service, for your responsiveness to every guest's request, and for the professional and very fast communication via Booking (from the day of booking to the day of arrival).
The hotel is clean and decorated in a modern style. The room is spacious and equipped with everything a guest needs.
The location is right in the heart of the atmospheric Jongno district, with a metro station just minutes away and plenty of restaurants nearby.
The hotel's weakest point is definitely the breakfast (although the Lady at the restaurant was lovely), but I still highly recommend the Amare Hotel and will definitely return on my next visit to Seoul.

Anche questa seconda volta sono rimasta soddisfatta!
Pros:

Sono tornata qui dopo esserci stata lo scorso anno. Ho soggiornato per 5 notti e come lo scorso anno valuto la mia esperienza molto positivamente.
Lo staff, sia al desk che in sala colazioni, è molto gentile e disponibile. La camera era molto spaziosa, bagno con doccia e vasca, in dotazione oltre al solito bagno schiuma, shampoo e balsamo anche la crema corpo, lozione ed essenza per il viso, diverse spazzole ottime per ogni esigenza per i capelli e phon. Anche quest'anno ho trovato la solita traversa plastificata nel letto ma sapendolo l'ho rimossa subito e gli addetti alle pulizia non l'hanno più sistemata.
All'ultimo piano c'è anche un terrazzo da dove si può ammirare la Namsan tower.
La colazione sempre molto buona. Prettamente salata ma si trova anche del buon pane tostato con burro e marmellata (per uno dei pochi hotel che offre la colazione nel prezzo mi accontento e non poco visto i prezzi per fare una colazione occidentale nei bar esterni). La posizione è davvero comoda per esplorare Seoul, soprattutto la zona di Insadong e i dintorni, a 20 minuti a piedi dal palazzo Gyeongbokgung. La sera il quartiere si anima molto soprattutto il fine settimana e non è per niente turistico.
Insomma anche quest'anno ho apprezzato molto il mio soggiorno qui e lo consiglio, soprattutto per chi cerca una sistemazione centrale e confortevole a un prezzo ragionevole. Ci tornerei? Perchè no, non c'è due senza tre!

Cons:

Di negativo posso solo segnalare un po' la pulizia sulle superfici non perfetta. In camera abbiamo trovato una sedia rivestita di una sorta di pelle cavallino a mio parere non molto igienica perchè non facile da pulire ad ogni check out ma ci siamo attrezzati di una plastica per coprirla in modo da portela usare.

Very near Insadong main shopping street and palaces
Pros:

Clean quiet room with sofa in convenient location close to major sights, good restaurants and cafes and very near airport bus stand or Metro station.
Friendly and helpful reception staff. Luggage storage. Nice shower.

Cons:

Breakfast was very uninspired. Not enough choice, only paper cups for tea and coffee. Mashed potatoes was nice. Appliances buttons give off too much light at night. You basically have to turn off the master button .
