Cute, convenient, quiet hidden gem in a lovely village. The place was clean, well stocked, and comfortable. Instructions on how to work equipment and extra bedding / pillows, even a black out blind is available if you require one. The host is very generous and kind. Highly recommended. We hope to go back one day!
Nothing we didn't like!
The accommodation is small but very well designed and presented. I appreciated breakfast being included.
I would have liked a sink in the living space but the owner will wash up for you.
Overall very good, lovely touches, had a feeling of luxuary about it, owners put a lot of thought in with the option of black out curtains, extra covers, varied breakfast offering, fresh milk butters and jams etc in mini fridge. Lovely bathroom, plenty of hot water. Very clean, light and airy. Has its own outside seating area which was lovely. Overall a beautiful location and space.
Would have given 10 out of 10 but we found it a bit noisy but we live in the country so find any noise like water heaters, traffic noise and next doors dog and juicer very unusual. Pity the kitchen didn't have a sink but the bathroom sink was handy.
The property has a designated parking area at the front (not suitable if you have a very large vehicle). A comfortable bed with t.v, hanging space for clothes, a small 'kitchen ' area with fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, and coffee maker. Bread , milk, butter, and jams supplied together with biscutes, pain au chocolates, and a big selection of cerals and coffee pods! As well as the usual tea/coffee. And a small breakfast bar to eat at. A small courtyard area to enjoy a coffee or glass of wine. Although a fairly small area, it has been designed well, and Elaine had supplied two fans, a blackout blind and a sheet if required because of the exceptional warm weather. It was lovely and clean with hand soap and small shower gels supplied. And of course it is dog friendly.
It probably wouldn't be suitable if staying for a period of time as there are no chairs/sofa to relax in.
A very comfortable room. Well planned and with all amenities. Very friendly helpful host (who happily attended to my dietary needs).
Liked the decor. There was adequate space for us. A big variety of cereals etc for breakfast. Bread for toast etc and plenty of bottled water. Nice toiletries in the bathroom which was quite spacious.

Well equipped and very comfy, cute little place to stay
Beautifully clean with helpful refreshments and breakfast items left out!
Breakfast was plentiful and a there was good variety of cereals etc.
Booking, com did not send us the street address only the house number 14a, so we spent an hour , 20 mins looking for every 14a in the village and only found it when we managed to reach the owner by phone. Booking .com sent us good instructions as to where to find the door/ key etc but Briston is a big village and all we were told was it was 14a. We were only in the area for 24 hours so to spend 80 minutes looking for the property and waiting for a response was a precious waste of time.
The host, Elaine, was very nice and very helpful but we solely and specifically, blame Booking.com for wasting 80 mins of our very limited time.
