Clean, comfortable accommodation in a good location.
Pros:

The room was exceptionally clean and the bed was very comfortable. The location is great, it's close to the castle and there are restaurants nearby. We really enjoyed sitting out in the courtyard in the sun and breakfast was lovely.

Cons:

I always appreciate a kettle in my room but that's probably just me being English, can't go 5 minutes without a cup of tea hehe.

Berat has a unique feel and staying at Vila Meri emersses you into the uniqueness
Pros:

Beautiful place, very clean and had everything you needed! Easy walking distance from everywhere to be seen. Staff and owner were so helpful and the breakfast was perfect!

Cons:

I can’t actually say I had a bad word at all!

Pros:

Unkomplizierter Check in, Parkplatz direkt an der Unterkunft konnte dazu gebucht werden, sehr zentral gelegen. Gutes Frühstück mit frisch zubereitetem Omelett.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war leider extrem dunkel und klein und auch schon etwas abgewohnt. Außerdem war es super hellhörig. Der Lüfter im Badezimmer war extrem Laut und leider wurde das auch während unseres Aufenthalts nicht behoben.

Très belle expérience
Pros:

C’est un endroit typiquement Albanais. Propre et selon l’annonce.

Cons:

Attention à bien ne pas prendre de trop grosses coupures. Ils n’avaient pas le change sur les gros billets (10000 lek).

Pros:

Muy limpio, todo nuevo y cuidado, cama cómoda el desayuno fue sorpréndete y muy agradable en su jardín y en 5 minutos estás en el centro o en castillo.

Cons:

No es que que no me gustara pero avisar que es un alojamiento en calle estrecha si vas en coche tienes que buscar un parking, hay opciones cerca pero está bastante lleno

Super joli logement, dans une petite ville avec beaucoup de charme! Personnel très gentil. La terrasse pour le petit déjeuner est top!
Excellent séjour

Cons:

Il serait bien de prévenir les gens qui viennent en voiture que la rue qui mène au logement est étroite et que le parking sur la rue est exigu!
Climatisation de la salle de bain très bruyante mais bon, pas la faute des hôtes.

Lugar con encanto y estancia agradable

Ubicación, limpieza, e instalaciones, además del desayuno muy bueno en el jardín.

Cons:

Subir maletas por la escalera,aunque solo era un piso , y tener que pagar parking para el coche poder dejarlo cerca.

Pros:

Super schattig verblijf! Kamer erg schoon en netjes. Locatie perfect, je loopt zo de gezelligheid in.
Heerlijk ontbijtje verzorgd door het personeel. Parkeren €6 per dag op parkeerplek van restaurantje er tegenover. Contant betalen (zowel Euro’s als Lek). Veel pinautomaten in de buurt.

Cosy et pratique, quelques points à peaufiner
Pros:

Lieu vraiment génial, très bien situé. Il y a un parking juste à côté (6 € la journée) : ce n’est pas public, mais la dame du musée vous garde la place. L’emplacement est parfait car on peut absolument tout faire à pied. La chambre est hyper mignonne, cosy et confortable. La salle de bain est impeccable et moderne. Il y a un frigo très silencieux. Le petit-déjeuner servi par les propriétaires était copieux et très bon. Ils sont charmants et accueillants, ce qui rend le séjour agréable.

Cons:

En revanche, il y a quelques points à améliorer : l’isolation n’est pas parfaite, on entend un peu les voisins de chambre et les valises dans le couloir si certains partent tôt. La ventilation de la salle de bain fait aussi beaucoup de bruit lorsqu’elle est allumée. Enfin, il manque peut-être un petit livret avec des recommandations de restaurants ou de lieux à visiter, surtout que certains restaurants nécessitent une réservation à l’avance. Cela aiderait à compenser la barrière de la langue et rendrait l’expérience encore plus complète. Mais c’est un ressenti que nous avons eu dans plusieurs villes d’Albanie : l’hospitalité touristique est encore en développement, ce qui est compréhensible car l’accueil des voyageurs est relativement récent.
