Hotel Maison Mexico was beautiful, exactly like the photos.
The hotel was very clean, and the hotel bed was so so cozy! AC in the room made us very comfortable during our stay.
The service and staff were wonderful. They accommodated us with an early check in, and promptly addressed our requests throughout our stay. Alberto specifically went above and beyond to ensure we had the best stay! Thank you Alberto!
A few tips for future guests - The hair dryer in the room is very weak, almost useless. Bring your own if you plan on blow drying your hair.
The Breakfast on the rooftop is lovely, however very light - fruits, toast and coffee or juice. If you’re wanting something more filling they do have menu options. The food was delicious but is an extra cost.
Overall these were minor, and did not impact the enjoyment of our stay :)
Great location, lovely breakfast on the rooftop and nicely designed bar and restaurant
Very loud street noise, reception staff could have been friendlier and rooms felt overpriced for the design and size
Stylish property.
Noisy
location was great. At the edge of roma norte without the commotion.
breakfast was just ok, they charged for second cup of coffee. And we ordered room service one day thinking it was the hotel rest. but again it was the rooftop restaurant so they ended up charged us for what would have been free if we went up.
Exceptional staff: friendly, accommodating, always providing solutions to any issue I had whether it's arranging emergency transport, guiding me about the city, or accommodating me even though I got very late for breakfast. The breakfast kitchen staff was super nice!
Beautiful aesthetics as well as a very safe and ideal central location.
Slightly overpriced
No sealed water in the room, they refill glass water bottles. But this is a small issue they can easily fix
All the team did their best to assist during my stay. The location is lovely for a holiday, though a bit far for business purposes.
There were issues with the plumbing, noise in the room, and a very poor variety of dishes at breakfast.
Over the course of several trips, I’ve learned that it’s important for a place of stay to feel as close to home as possible. Only then, can you truly unwind and get to know and enjoy the place and people you’re visiting. With that in mind, I am fascinated by the extent to which Hotel Casa Izel and its staff have mastered what I consider to be the complicated art of hospitality. The hotel itself is a gem and strikes an incredible balance between a modern interior and a more historical exterior face. Staff like Adrián, Natalia and Saúl are masters at each of their crafts, and from our arrival in CDMX, I was convinced we’d made the right choice. I highly recommend Hotel Casa Izel to anyone (foreign or local) who is looking for a genuinely good time in CDMX. The staff are incredibly warm and receptive, and each person had their own nuggets of knowledge related to what is frankly one of the most majestic cities in the world. We didn’t have the opportunity to take advantage of everything the hotel offered, but rest assured, we’ll be back! I do, however, have a newfound love for chilaquiles for breakfast.
