The building the surroundings - the wine & the staff

Serviciul excelent. Personal foarte amabil, prevenitor, întotdeauna la dispoziția clienților.
Curățenie exemplară. Bucătărie foarte bună. Împrejurimile foarte frumoase, vinul de calitate, crama locală.
Beau chateau, belle vue, beaux murs, escaliers, l'histoire des pierres. La piscine de 25m permettant une vraie activite physique.
Pas tres bien entretenu pour le label relais et chateau, menage laisse a desirer, pas de remplacement savon, cotton, et autres
De locatie is fantastisch, maar verder helaas niets.
Een typisch voorbeeld van vergane glorie!!Alles was sterk verouderd en in zeer slechte staat van onderhoud. Verder wil men bepaalde pretenties uitstralen met een daarbij belachelijk prijsniveau wat in geen enkele verhouding is met de geboden kwaliteit!!!
Historic small property, wine tour
Service not 100% of what would be expected for a R&C property at this price point. Room could be updated for this price point (at least carpeting). It felt like the property wasn't investing in improvements.

An absolutely stunning place — we couldn't have been happier. A genuine castle full of history and character, set on high ground with magnificent views over the valley and vineyards. The grounds are beautifully kept and atmospheric, and the rooms are wonderful — tasteful and comfortable without being ostentatious. The staff were attentive and warm, making us feel truly welcome. A perfect balance of history, nature and fine dining. One of the highlights of our entire trip, and somewhere we'd love to return. Highly recommended.

Jammer dat het menu niet verandert daardoor word je gestimuleerd om maar een avond te dineren bij een meerdaags verblijf

Je pense qu’un petit effort pourrait être fait sur les jardins, la piscine et le petit déjeuner. Mais c’était bien.

Monday night with a closed restaurant has limited food options. (No cheese to go with bread)
Il pourrait y avoir un petit accompagnement salé quand on prend un verre au bar (surtout quand on paie 14€ pour 1 verre de Château Mercues)
Le restaurant gastronomique est trop cher 120€/3 plats sans boisson et sans choix, il faut voir la réalité en face …
Magnifique château et jardins avec point de vue imprenable sur la vallée du Lot. Personnel très aimable et attentionné, très agréable visite du château et du chai inclus dans le séjour, avec dégustation des vins. Nous avons pu acheter des bons vin de Cahors.
