Pros:

This property is amazing, right in the middle of everything, alms ceremony just down the street, the customer service provided by Defne at the front desk, the cleaning people and the kitchen staff is amazing, it makes you feel a home away from home, totally fits the Luang Prabang vibe, when we come back to Luang Prabang we are definitely staying here again, I researched so many properties and as soon as I got there I knew I made the right decision, in house laundry super affordable, the breakfast it's perfect and the AC will not be an issue in this place.

Cons:

I have nothing bad to say, probably just having to carry the classic room key style was the only thing lol. But I'm sure you can leave it at the front desk if you don't want to risk losing it.

Pros:

We had so much fun during our stay! The housekeeper for our room was amazing, keeping everything clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and a great way to start the day. Overall, a wonderful and enjoyable experience

Pros:

La proximité aux lieux d'interêts, en plein marché du matin, a une minute du marché du soir, proche du lac (à pieds). La dame qui accueille nous a aidé pour réserver l'excursion aux waterfalls ainsi que le transport vers l'aéroport à des prix très accessible.

Musty smelly room but proximity to places of interest & staff made it somewhat bearable for a 2 days
Pros:

We ate the breakfast because it was better than nothing and the staff did their best with what they had. The prep area did not look hygienic and we served food outside in front of the building where 4 tables and seats were arranged. I chose the hotel because of the location and proximity to places of interest.

Cons:

There is no elevator and we had heavy luggage so we were put in a downstairs room with an entry on the outside of the building. The room had an overpowering musty smell and some part of the floor/carpet was obviously destroyed. We tried airfreshner but that didn't help. We endured it cos we had only 2 nights there. We also had to fight mosquitoes and ants. There were holes in the wall underneath the sink that may have been a way in for the bugs so we stuffed it with a makeshift plastic bag to stop more bugs coming in. Awful!

Central spot in Luang Prabang old town.
Pros:

The breakfast was very much to my taste. I settled on a banana pancake with honey to kick off the day. I liked it so much the first day, I had the same thing for the rest of my stay!

The morning marker is active in front of the hotel. This adds some early morning sounds of setup, and later of people shopping. I didn't mind this at all, and it added a lot of color to my stay. It is super convenient to just step out into the morning market, and nearly so for the few steps to get to the main night market.

The staff was helpful at every step. I had my laundry sent out and was charged at the going rate (as if I had dropped it off myself, no pricing per item) ...super helpful!

The location is so central, it is just steps away from shopping and most of the travel pickup spots. It is also close to where the river boats dock.

Cons:

If you are a light sleeper, ask for a room that doesn't overlook the alley. I liked the local flavor of it, you might not.

Mitten im Zentrum
Pros:

Tolle Lage voll im Zentrum (Morgenmarkt vor der Tür, Nachtmarkt 1 Gehminute). Grossartiger Rezeptionist (Khamephet), der alles für das Wohl seiner Gäste tut. Guter Roomservice, gutes Frühstück... da passt eigentlich alles.

Cons:

Preis (f. laotische Verhältnisse) an der oberen Grenze, aber ok. / Einrichtung schlicht. Keine Ablagen (Schrank fehlt) konte meine Koffer nicht auspacken. Null Aussicht.
